（一）博览群书通古今。
(I) To read and understand the past and present.
四十多年来，我阅读与研究了600多本（部）古今风水堪舆、四柱预测、奇门遁甲、易经八卦、黄帝内经、儒释道医、中华国学、姓名符咒等方面的经典原著，阅读了马克思主义哲学、政治经济学、科学社会主义、中国革命史、规划学、建筑学、园林学、生态学、心理学、地质学、生物学、气象学、地理学等大量社会科学与自然科学方面的理论书籍，查阅了中国第一历史档案馆和国家图书馆收藏历代皇帝关于风水（堪舆）方面的圣旨，特别是深入研究并亲身实践了杨公风水、八宅风水、玄空风水、过路阴阳、呼形喝象等十多个风水流派或风水术语的经典原著，回归经典、解读经典，拨乱反正、正本清源，为创立自然风水学打下了坚实的理论基础。
For more than 40 years, I have read and studied more than 600 classic original works on ancient and modern Feng Shui, prediction of four columns, variety of magic skills employed in fortune-telling, Eight Trigrams of the I Ching, Huang di's Canon of Medicine, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism Medicine, Chinese National Science, Name and Charm, etc. I have also read a lot of theoretical books on social and natural sciences, such as Marxist philosophy, political economy, scientific socialism, history of the Chinese Revolution, planning, architecture, gardening, ecology, psychology, geology, biology, meteorology and geography. 四十多年来，我始终坚持辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义的世界观与方法论，节衣缩食、省吃俭用，走遍了中华大地、全方位拜师学艺，我的周易预测、风水堪舆、四柱八卦、奇门遁甲、取名择日、佛学道家、中医养生的师父多达30多位，很多都是顶级专家、一流大师。我承接家传、接受师传，去粗取精、去伪存真，学思践悟、博采众长，正本清源、拨乱反正，讲究博学、审问、慎思、明辨、笃行，崇尚“士以弘道”的价值追求和“做大学问、做真学问”的初心使命，坚守“板凳要坐十年冷，文章不写一句空”的学术执着，耐得住寂寞、经得起诱惑、守得住底线，在古圣先贤和历代风水祖师大德研究与实践成果以及辩证分析古今各个风水流派的基础上，独自创立了《自然风水学》这一人类历史上的新兴学术与学科门类，真正践行了知识分子学术报国的情怀。

Economizing food and clothing and saving money on food and expenses, I went all over the Chinese land to learn art from teachers all-round. 30 my masters and more in respect of Zhou Yi prediction, geomantic omen, four-column eight trigrams, variety of magic skills employed in fortune-telling, naming and choosing an auspicious day, Buddhists and Taoists, nourishing of life by using traditional Chinese medicine, among them many are top experts and top masters. I have taken up the family tradition and accepted the teacher's tradition, discarded the dross and selected the essential, removed the false and kept the true, learned and practiced, collected the longevity of others, corrected the origin and set things right, paid attention to erudition, examination, deliberate thinking, clear discernment, and sincere action, advocated the value pursuit of "people can promote the morality" and the original mission "to do great learning, to do true learning", stuck to the academic persistence of " the bench has to sit cold for ten years and not to write an empty sentence", patience loneliness, withstand temptation, and keep the bottom line. On the basis of the original creation of based on the research and practice achievements of ancient sages and ancestors of Feng Shui, as well as dialectical analysis of various Feng Shui schools in ancient and modern times, I have created alone the "Science of Natural Feng Shui", a new academic and discipline in human history, truly practicing the sentiment of intellectuals to serve the country.
（四）著书立说耀华夏。
(IV) Writing books to dazzle China.
四十多年来，我在国家级报刊杂志了发表了200多篇自然风水学论文，为我国公开发表风水类学术论文最多的中国易学专家。我创作并出版了79万字的《自然风水学》第一版、91万字的《自然风水学》精华版，200多万字的《自然风水学》经典版也即将出版。我简化了中国风水罗盘并创立了自然风水学专用罗盘（即天地盘），天地盘已获得国家专利证书。我还在《求是》《人民日报》《党建研究》《中国监察》《农民日报》《中国旅游报》等国家级党报党刊发表了政治类、党建类、经济类、文化类、旅游类、管理类的文章100多篇。
For more than 40 years, I have published more than 200 papers on natural geomantic Feng Shui in national newspapers and magazines, and I am the Chinese I Ching study expert who has published the most Feng Shui academic papers in China. I have created and published the first edition of "Science of Natural Feng Shui" with 790,000 characters, the essence version of “Science of Natural Feng Shui” with 910,000 characters, and the classic version of “Science of Natural Fengshui” with more than 2 million characters will be published soon. I simplified the Chinese Feng Shui compass and created a special compass for natural Feng Shui (i.e. heaven and earth compass), which has obtained a national patent certificate. I also have published political, party building, economic, cultural, tourism articles in national party newspapers and journals such as Qiushi, People's Daily, Party Construction Research, China Supervision, Farmers Daily, and China Tourism News, more than 100 articles.
（五）躬身实践济苍生。

四十多年来，我运用自然风水学，不仅造福了全国很多家庭和孩子，而且造福了全国各地的很多公司、工厂、机关、小区、学校、医院、宾馆、酒楼、商场、超市、家庭、家族和干部、工人、农民、军人、学生，助力很多企业（工厂）在短时间内名列全国或全省的同行业前茅，挽救了许多濒临破产的企业，救治了多个重病患者，解决了40多对大龄夫妇不孕不育的苦恼。我给全国成千上万的个人和企业取名、改名，为企业LOGO的设计把关，凡是由我取名或改名的全国各地的成千上万的学生，绝大多数都成功考取了清华大学、北京大学、剑桥大学、牛津大学等国内外知名大学。我先后在25个地方居住或办公，其中至少居住了15个地方的房子，由此亲身验证与实践了自然风水学和其它各个风水流派。我还改了好几个姓名，以检验姓名学对人的命运的影响并由此提炼了简单、精准、适用的自然风水学取名法，即“补五行、合八字，三才生、五格吉，常用字、避多音，意境好、韵律美”。
For more than 40 years, I have used natural Feng Shui to benefit not only many families and children across the country, but also many companies, factories, institutions, communities, schools, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, supermarkets, families, clans, cadres, workers, farmers, soldiers and students, and helped many enterprises (factories) to rank among the top in the same industry in a short period of time in the country or in the province, saved many enterprises that were on the verge of bankruptcy, treated many seriously ill patients, and solved the problem. More than 40 older couples suffered from infertility. I have named and changed the names of thousands of individuals and companies across the country, and have been responsible for the design of corporate logos. Of the thousands of students from all over the country who have been named or renamed by me, most of them have been admitted to Tsinghua University, Beijng University, Cambridge University, Oxford University and other well-known universities at home and abroad. I have lived or worked in 25 places, including houses in at least 15 places, so I have personally verified and practiced natural Feng Shui and various other Feng Shui schools. I also changed several names to test the influence of name science on people's destiny, and thus refined a simple, accurate and applicable natural Feng Shui naming method, that is "to complement the five elements, matching the eight characters, birth of three talents, five squares auspicious, and avoid the polytones for commonly used characters, good artistic conception and beautiful rhythm.

( VI ) Rich achievements in last ten years
2011年5月，金土皓老师正式提出“自然风水学”这个词语并开始了长达20年的《自然风水学》一书的写作，全书共计200多万字，如今已写作完成。

2012年10月15日，著名评论家、独立学者、《世界导报》社长罗竖一先生在湖南张家界讲课时并在国家重要媒体发表了多篇新闻报道，他的文章中首次提出“中国自然风水学创始人宋泓锡”的定位。这是“自然风水学”第一次见于媒体。
On October 15, 2012, Mr. Luo Shuyi, a well-known critic, independent scholar and president of "World Herald", gave a lecture in Zhangjiajie, Hunan and published several news reports in important national media. 2013年11月，中国社会科学院主管、中国政策科学研究会主办的《今日中国论坛》杂志发表了宋泓锡（金土皓）老师的论文“承传自然风水学 建设美丽大中国”，这是国家级的期刊杂志第一次出现“自然风水学”这个专用名词。
