On April 25, in Yuyangguan Town, Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, Hubei Province, the construction team of State Grid Wufeng County Power Supply Company was intensively conducting conductor stringing construction at Tower No. 10 of the 110kV Changyu Line.

To coordinate with the construction of Yilai Expressway, State Grid Wufeng County Power Supply Company organized a construction team to carry out relocation and modification construction on the lines from Tower No. 10 to Tower No. 13 of the 110kV Changyu Line, which cross - span the expressway. The project started construction on February 27 and is expected to be completed in mid - June. The relocation involves a 1.62-kilometer stretch of power lines and the repositioning of four transmission towers.

To support the Yilai Expressway construction in Wufeng, State Grid Wufeng County Power Supply Company has relocated three 110 kV lines, one 35 kV line, and low-voltage lines in four towns—Yuyangguan, Changleping, Wufeng, and Wantan—ensuring smooth progress for the expressway project.

The Yidu-Laifeng Expressway, abbreviated as the Yilai Expressway, is the western section of the "Heng 5" (East-West No. 5) Yangxin-Laifeng Expressway under Hubei Province's "12th Five-Year Plan" highway network framework, which includes "seven vertical, five horizontal, and three ring" routes. The eastern section, Yangxin-Yidu, has been partially opened to traffic, with the remaining sections under construction. The Yilai Expressway spans approximately 180 kilometers, with about 90 kilometers in Yichang and another 90 kilometers in Enshi Prefecture. (By Zhang Shenglong)
