As one of China's three major shipbuilding hubs, Guangzhou's shipbuilding industry is showing strong growth. The total industrial output value of the shipbuilding sector is expected to exceed 50 billion yuan in 2024, with a year-on-year increase of more than 8%. On May 16th, reporters visited key stages of Guangzhou's shipbuilding industry chain, including design and research, materials and components, and final assembly, discovering that each stage is thriving with innovative energy.

The world's first salmon farming vessel, "Suhai No.1", was built by a Guangzhou shipbuilding company. This vessel integrates fish farming, fishing, and processing functions. Pan Bingbing, project manager for the farming vessel project, explained that the ship implements intelligent control of the five key elements, including water, oxygen, feed, light, and waste, and can automatically complete tasks such as fish stocking, grading, and cold storage processing.

On May 15th, China's largest photovoltaic (PV) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual-fuel pure car carrier, the "Yuan Hai Kou", was completed by Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI). The vessel, now transporting China-made vehicles to Europe on its maiden voyage, was constructed using an intelligent thin plate production line that tripled manufacturing efficiency. GSI currently has over 90 ships under construction, with more than 80% being green and innovative ship types.

The shaft-less rim-driven thruster, developed and manufactured by Guangzhou HG Marine, is at the forefront of global technology. Chen Hailong, Deputy General Manager of HG Marine, emphasized, "It not only offers higher efficiency and saves space within the ship's hull, but it also eliminates the risk of sealing oil leakage into the water, making it environmentally friendly."

Sun Tierui, Assistant President of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC) No.605 Institute, introduced that the "Marine Engineering Mooring System" developed by the institute has been used in the design of multiple deep-sea equipment, including the world's first offshore mooring project designed to withstand a 17-level typhoon, with a 40-year service life.

看广州船舶“智造”破浪全球

作为我国三大造船基地之一,广州船舶制造业的发展势头强劲:2024年船舶制造业工业总产值预计超500亿元,同比增长超8%。5月16日,记者走访广州船舶产业链上设计与研发、材料与零部件、总装建造等关键环节,发现每一处都涌动着创新活力。

全球首艘三文鱼养殖工船“苏海1号”由广州船企建造,具备养殖、捕捞、加工一体化功能。船厂养殖工船项目经理潘兵兵介绍,船上实现了“水、氧、料、光、污”五要素智能控制,还可自动完成鱼苗入舱、分级、冷藏加工等作业。

5月15日,中国最大光伏+LNG双燃料汽车运输船“远海口”轮由广船国际建造完成,首航载运国产汽车出口欧洲。该船采用智能薄板生产线建造,效率提升2倍多。广船国际现有90余艘在建订单,逾八成为绿色新型船型。

由广州海工研发制造的无轴轮缘推进器在世界上处于一流水平。广州海工副总经理陈海龙直言,“它不仅效率更高、节省船舱内空间,而且不会有密封油泄漏至水体,对环境友好。”

中船六〇五院院长助理孙铁锐介绍,中船六〇五院研发的“海工系泊系统”已用于多项深海装备的研发设计,包括创造性地完成了全球第一个滨海抗17级台风、设计寿命40年的海上系泊工程。
