Denmark is set to have the highest retirement age in Europe after its parliament adopted a law raising it to 70 by 2040.
丹麦议会近日通过了一项法案，到2040年将退休年龄上调至70岁，届时丹麦将成为欧洲退休年龄最高的国家。
Since 2006, Denmark has tied the official retirement age to life expectancyand has revised it every five years. It is currently 67 but will rise to 68 in 2030 and to 69 in 2035.
自2006年以来，丹麦就将法定退休年龄与人均预期寿命挂钩，并每五年进行一次调整。目前的退休年龄是67岁，计划在2030年提高到68岁，2035年再提高到69岁。
The retirement age at 70 will apply to all people born after 31 December 1970.The new law passed on Thursday with 81votes forand 21 votes against.
按照这项新法案的规定，所有在1970年12月31日之后出生的人，退休年龄都将被延后至70岁。该法案于上周四表决通过，最终以81票赞成、21票反对获得通过。

补充一个冷知识：目前全球范围内法定退休年龄最高的国家是南非的利比亚（State of Libya）。
退休年龄同样是70岁，关键是——平均预期寿命才73岁。说白了，就是活到老，干到老，真正实现“余生三年，边干边喘”。
相比之下，丹麦的人均预期寿命是81.7岁。如果70岁退休，好歹还能安安心心享受10年不打卡的生活。但对于不少丹麦人来说，还是很难接受这项新规。
Tommas Jensen, a 47-year-old roofer, told Danish media that the change was "unreasonable"."We're working and working and working, but we can't keep going," he said.

"I've paid my taxes all my life. There should also be time to be with children and grandchildren," Mr Jensen told outlet DK.
