很多时候，当我们听到某地口音，大脑就像打开了AI换脸软件，瞬间给人套上了刻板印象：

东北话=豪爽？瞬间脑补穿花棉袄、戴大金链子的老铁；

山东话=憨厚？自动代入手拿煎饼卷大葱的老大哥；

台湾腔=嗲？直接梦回偶像剧女主的浪漫片场……

难道方言真的会影响颜值？答案是：NO！

首先要说明的是，帅和美是整体性的，一个人是不是有魅力和吸引力，不光是看脸这么简单。

这里要介绍一个概念：面孔吸引力。面孔吸引力指一个人的面孔所带来的愉悦感，以及它促使他人产生接近意愿的程度。

波兰弗罗茨瓦夫大学的研究员 Agata Groyecka 回顾了有关吸引力的研究后发现，判断面孔吸引力时，不同感官的信息（如声音、气味等）会相互作用、共同影响评判结果。

Agata Groyecka, a researcher at the University of Wroclaw in Poland, has reviewed studies on attractiveness, finding that with judgements in facial attractiveness, there are interactions between different sensory information, such as auditory (voice) and olfactory (smell) information.

面孔吸引力的判断依赖于多感官整合。当我们评估一个人的外貌时，也会调动听觉把对方的声音纳入考量范围。只有经过这种综合评估后，我们才能确定其面孔于自己而言到底具不具备吸引力。

Assessing how attractive someone is based on their facial features fundamentally is a multisensory integration process. When evaluating an individual's appearance, our cognitive system automatically incorporates auditory cues, such as vocal characteristics, into the perceptual evaluation. It is only through this comprehensive multisensory processing that we can subjectively determine whether we find a face possesses genuine attractiveness.

就声音而言，我们很难在听到对方说话的时候，完全忽视对方话语的含义和属性（除非听不懂，或者对方的颜值高到直接让他人大脑宕机了），这时候就体现出口音的重要性。

认知心理学家Bestelmayer表示，人们对口音是有偏好的，而这种偏好会导致口音偏见。在口音是会否影响颜值的问题上，如果你偏爱普通话，那对于方言口音就会有一定的偏见，甚至可能觉得说方言的人颜值没那么高了。

Cognitive psychologist Bestelmayer's research reveals that people exhibit accent preferences which can lead to accent bias. Regarding whether accents influence perceived attractiveness, individuals who prefer Mandarin may develop biases against regional dialects, potentially perceiving speakers with non-standard accents as less physically attractive.

所以，不是方言会影响颜值，而是人们对方言的看法，影响了人们对说方言者的判断和印象。
