25岁的Nina Derwael早已是体操界的传奇人物。她曾于2018年格拉斯哥欧洲锦标赛斩获平衡木银牌，并在2019年明斯克欧洲运动会摘得金牌。本周的高低杠冠军是她在该项目上的第三枚欧洲金牌（前两次为2017年和2018年）。在欧洲赛场之外，她还拥有两枚世界锦标赛金牌（2018年、2019年）和一枚2021年的东京奥运会金牌，均来自高低杠项目。多么耀眼的成绩！

Belgian gymnast Nina Derwael continued her dominant performance at the European Gymnastics Championships in Leipzig, Germany, claiming her second gold medal in as many days by winning the balance beam final on last Saturday. Just one day prior, the Limburg-born athlete had triumphed in the uneven bars event!

The 25-year-old Derwael has long been a force in gymnastics. She previously won beam silver at the 2018 European Championships in Glasgow and gold at the 2019 European Games in Minsk. Her uneven bars title this week adds to her historic legacy, marking her third European gold on the apparatus (following victories in 2017 and 2018). Beyond Europe, she boasts two world titles (2018, 2019) and an Olympic gold (2021) in the uneven bars. How amazing!

The third medal of the Belgian Delegation belongs to Lisa Vaelen, a bronze on vault!
