On June 4, the relocation and upgrading project of the caprolactam industrial chain of Sinopec Group Hunan Petroleum Branch operated smoothly. With an annual output of 600,000 tonnes, the project has adopted Sinopec's new-generation caprolactam green technology with independent intellectual property rights. The whole production line has been in operation for one year, with 17 newly-built main units completed and ready for production. The project has effectively lifted the siege of chemical enterprises to the Yangtze River and Yueyang City by means of eco-friendly upgrades, preserving blue sky and clear water with concrete actions.
