Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi of Iran said the country has not agreed to the ceasefire announced by Trump, but he also indicated Iran has paused its warfare.

In statements on X, Araghchi said that as long as Israel stopped its "aggression", Iran has "no intention" of continuing its response.

"As of now, there is NO 'agreement' on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations," he said. "However, provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4 am Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response afterwards."

A decision on whether to approve Iran's participation in the agreement will come at a later time, Araghchi said.

Araghchi says in a follow-up post: "The military operations of our powerful Armed Forces to punish Israel for its aggression continued until the very last minute, at 4 am."
