Shanghai Legoland Resort is set to officially open in the summer of 2025, becoming the 11th Legoland in the world and the first in China. Located in Fengjing Town, Jinshan District, it covers an area of 318,000 square meters. The resort comprises a Lego theme park and a supporting themed hotel, featuring over 75 interactive rides, attractions, and shows across eight themed lands.

These include the world-first "Legoland Creative World" and "Monkie Kid" themed areas. The latter, inspired by Journey to the West, combines unique attractions like Jiangnan water town boat rides, showcasing a fusion of traditional Chinese culture and modern technology. An aerial view of the park resembles a giant Lego sandbox.

The park's building facades, designed as "enlarged Lego bricks," are strikingly eye-catching, making visitors feel as if they are in a colossal, colorful Lego kingdom.
