摘要：通讯作者变更：稿件提交后原则上不得变更通讯作者。唯一例外情形是：通讯作者在投稿至发表期间变更所属单位且事先获得责任主编(Handling Editor-in-Chief）的书面批准。在此特例下：

学术期刊投稿需恪守高度的伦理严谨性。Engineering Structures就作者署名问题强调以下要求望大家遵守实行：

1. 作者署名： 稿件一经提交初审，即不得再增删改变作者。

2. 通讯作者： 每篇论文仅允许指定一位通讯作者。

3. 投稿责任： 投稿人必须为稿件中标注的通讯作者。

4. 通讯作者变更： 稿件提交后原则上不得变更通讯作者。唯一例外情形是：通讯作者在投稿至发表期间变更所属单位且事先获得责任主编(Handling Editor-in-Chief）的书面批准。在此特例下：

(i) 可为该通讯作者添加第二所属机构；和/或

(ii) 可由原通讯作者单位中的另一位作者接任通讯作者（此规定适用于通讯作者为离校博士生、由其导师接任的情况）。

在稿件初稿提交后增删、替换作者或变更通讯作者的行为，均将被认定为违背科学出版的基本原则。

故此，任何在首稿投稿后发生作者（含通讯作者）变更的稿件，将被视为学术不端行为，编辑部为捍卫学术诚信，将即刻予以退稿处理。

The submission of articles to scientific journals requires a high level of ethical rigor. In the case of Engineering Structures journal, it is imperative to highlight the following key aspects regarding the authorship:

(1) once an article is submitted for its initial review, the opportunity to remove or add authors ceases.

(2) only one corresponding author is allowed in each paper.

(3) the author who is marked as the corresponding author in the submitted paper must be the one submitting it.

(4) change to corresponding author after initial submission of the paper is not permitted, except a special case where the corresponding author moves institution between submission and publication, and prior approval from the handling Editor-in-Chief has been obtained. In such a case,

(i) A secondary affiliation may be included for the corresponding author, and/or

(ii) Another author from the same original institution can become the corresponding author (this covers the case of a corresponding PhD student who leaves the university, so the supervisor can become the corresponding author).

The inclusion or substitution of authors and changing corresponding author after the initial submission of the original version of the article contradict fundamental principles of scientific publication.

In this regard, any article undergoing authorship including corresponding author changes subsequent to its initial submission will be considered fraudulent. The Editors will promptly reject such articles, upholding the integrity of the scientific publishing process.
