We men are imperfect beings, so conflicts among usare unavoidable.

Inevitably, we sometimes feel injured, insulted, orslighted.

The lack of opportunity is ever the excuse of a weak, vacillating mind. Opportunities! Every life is full of them.

Every lesson in school or college is an opportunity. Every examination is a chance in life. Every proof of confidence in you is a great opportunity. Every responsibility thrust upon your strength and your honor is priceless. Existence is the privilege of effort, and when that privilege is met like a man, opportunities to succeed along the line of your aptitude will come faster than you can use them.

Have Faith in Others

Belief is a happier state of mind than doubt andsuspicion.

By this I live, for if I don't have faith in others, whowill believe in me?

Strange is our situation here upon earth.

I do not know who wrote these words, but I havealways liked them as a reminder that the future canbe anything we want to make it.
