On August 26th, at the Yangtze River estuary, China successfully launched the ultra-large grab suction dredgers "Tongjun" and "Junguang", the largest in Asia and world-leading, marking the new flagship of the "island-building marvels." The dredger "Junguang", a Guangdong-built "advanced equipment for the country," has already secured 24 national invention patents. It is scheduled for sea trials this year and will be delivered for operation at the Guangzhou Port by year-end.
The "Tongjun" and "Junguang" are designed with a length of 198 meters, a width of 38.5 meters, and a depth of 18 meters, with a maximum dredging depth of 120 meters. Their capacity reaches 35,000 cubic meters, equivalent to the total volume of 18 standard swimming pools, ranking first in Asia.
Even under the conditions of waves and winds of up to grade eight, the dredgers' cutter heads can reach seabed depths equivalent to approximately 40 stories, suctioning and loading sediment. The hoppers can be fully filled within 90 minutes, demonstrating world-leading loading efficiency.
In addition to their large capacity, both vessels are equipped with methanol-ready dual-fuel engines, achieving 30% higher power efficiency compared with similar ships. With this green innovation, the two dredging marvels are capable of unrestricted global navigation.
Moreover, both dredgers adopt an integration of 5G and the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), paired with the self-developed intelligent dredging control systems. A single crew member can operate all navigation and operational tasks, achieving fully automated dredging operations.
广东籍“造岛神器”新旗舰下水 计划年底交付使用
8月26日,长江入海口,由我国自主设计研发建造的亚洲最大、世界领先的超大型耙吸挖泥船“通浚”轮和“浚广”轮成功下水,成为“造岛神器”新旗舰。“浚广”轮是广东籍“国之重器”,目前已获得国家发明专利技术24项,计划今年年底进行海试并在广州港交付使用。
“通浚”轮和“浚广”轮设计长度198米,型宽38.5米,型深18米,最大挖深120米,最大舱容达35000立方米,相当于一次装满18个标准游泳池的总容量,泥舱容量亚洲第一。
即使在八级风浪条件下作业,船舶耙头也可伸至约40层楼深度的海底吸挖泥沙,能在90分钟内将泥舱全部填满,装载效率世界领先。
除了容量大,两船都配备甲醇预留双燃料发动机,动力效率与同类船舶相比提升30%。这也意味着,凭借绿色智造,两艘疏浚利器具备全球无限航区航行能力。
同时,两船采用北斗+5G技术,搭配自主研发的智能疏浚控制系统,由1名船员操作便可完成所有航行和施工任务,真正实现了疏浚作业的全自动控制。
