The 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (hereinafter referred to as “CIFIT”) is scheduled to take place in Xiamen from September 8 to 11 this year. As China’s sole national-level major exhibition dedicated to investment, CIFIT serves as a flagship platform for the “Invest in China” initiative. Hosting CIFIT effectively plays a pivotal role in fostering international collaboration within industrial and supply chains, thereby contributing significantly to the advancement of high-level opening-up and the high-quality joint development of the "Belt and Road" initiative. This year’s CIFIT, themed “Partnering with China, Investing in the Future,”will concentrate on three principal areas: “Invest in China,” “Chinese Investment,” and “International Investment.” The fair will cover approximately 120,000 square meters of exhibition space and will host over 70 investment-focused events alongside more than 100 specialized roadshows. To date, delegations from over 110 countries and regions, as well as various international organizations, have registered to participate, with 51 countries and regions establishing exhibition booths. Concurrently, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development will hold the Future Investment Conference. Additionally, international organizations such as the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies and the New Development Bank will conduct specialized seminars aimed at sharing advanced experiences and innovative practices in international investment cooperation, thereby promoting cross-border services in the realm of international investment.
第二十五届中国国际投资贸易洽谈会（以下简称“投洽会”）将于今年9月8日至11日在厦门举办。投洽会是我国唯一以投资为主题的国家级重大展会，也是“投资中国”的标志性展会。办好投洽会，有利于促进产供链国际合作，对推进高水平对外开放和高质量共建“一带一路”具有重要意义。本届投洽会以“携手中国 投资未来”为主题，聚焦“投资中国”“中国投资”“国际投资”三大板块，设立了约12万平方米展区，将举办70多场投资专题活动和100多场专题路演。 截至目前，已有110多个国家和地区、国际组织的代表团报名参加本届投洽会，51个国家和地区设展。联合国贸发会议将同期举办未来投资大会，世界投资促进机构协会、新开发银行等国际组织将同期举办专题研讨会，分享国际投资合作先进经验与创新实践，促进国际投资领域跨境服务提质增效。

On August 26, the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese held a Xiamen Development Matchmaking Session for its Overseas Chinese Leaders Training Program, bringing together 86 overseas Chinese leaders and entrepreneurs from over 30 countries and regions in Xiamen. Xiamen is fully committed to supporting overseas Chinese entrepreneurs in their investment and establishment efforts within the city, while also encouraging overseas talents to pursue employment and entrepreneurial opportunities locally. Currently, Xiamen is actively integrating into and serving national development strategies, vigorously advancing the construction of the BRICS Innovation Base, and expediting the establishment of a cross-strait regional financial center. This matchmaking session specifically featured promotions for projects related to the BRICS Innovation Base and the financial center. General Technology BRICS (Xiamen) Investment and Development Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of a central state-owned enterprise, introduced the BRICS Innovation Base Headquarters Zone project to overseas Chinese entrepreneurs. The project targets sectors including technology, culture, trade, and modern services, with the objective of creating a model industrial development zone among BRICS nations. The Yinglan Group presented the Xiamen Yinglan International Financial Center project to overseas Chinese entrepreneurs. This key provincial and municipal project completed its construction filing earlier this year and has commenced global investment promotion efforts.
