A conference on the development of construction machinery innovation ecology, also a coordination and matchmaking conference for Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan (CZT) construction machinery main and supporting enterprises, took place in Changsha on December 18.
A CZT construction machinery alliance was established at the conference. The three cities will leverage their respective resource endowments and industrial foundation to foster close coordination between the upstream and downstream sectors of industrial chains and promote the integration and connectivity of various industrial clusters.
The conference is an important measure to implement the 2025 Action Plan on CZT Integrated Development and a series of cooperation agreements signed by the three cities. Adhering to the goal of "creating a growth pole of national importance", the conference aimed to build Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan into a megapolitan area, with a focus on urban integration and high-quality development.
At the conference, the chain chief, alliance leader, university principal, bank president, and fund chairman signed an initiative on jointly promoting the development of the construction machinery industry chain. Hence, the CZT construction machinery industry chain cooperation has entered a new stage.
Core technology research needs of the construction machinery industry were also released on site. Spokespersons for industrial clusters, parks, and zones and related key enterprises from Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan made presentations respectively. This helped further strengthen synergy among construction machinery industrial clusters, facilitate the transformation of construction machinery supporting enterprises from an exclusive supply chain to a shared supply chain, and build a pool of high-quality supporting suppliers for industrial development.
