The Guangdong Power Grid, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Southern Power Grid China Southern Power Grid, showcased China's first humanoid design for the power sector at the 26th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), drawing widespread attention. According to Li Duanjiao, Deputy General Manager of the Production Technology Departmentof the Guangdong Power Grid, this groundbreaking robot combines a human-like appearance with versatile operational capabilities, showing a wide prospect for itsapplication in its field. It is expected to be applied in actual production by the first half of 2025.

Standing nearly as tall as an average person, the robot features flexible limbs and advanced vision systems. It can walk, climb stairs, and perform complex tasks such as gripping objects, pressing buttons, toggling switches, and using power tools. These capabilities suit it for high-risk tasks including inspections and troubleshooting at unmanned substations. "This is the first humanoid in China tailored for the power industry. Currently, in the testing phase, it will leverage AI to enhance its intelligence for autonomous operations," said Li.

In addition to the humanoid, Guangdong Power Grid presented a range of smart devices at the fair. These include a dual-arm live working robot for the distribution network, a quadruped inspection robot, inspection drones with docking stations, and laser obstacle removers. These innovations showcase the latest breakthroughs in power grid maintenance and attracted significant interest from attendees.

A company representative shared that Guangdong Power Grid has been focusing on advanced smart maintenance technologies for complex power networks. Their comprehensive panoramic inspection network integrates the Beidou NavigationSatellite System and digital twin models of equipment. The company has developed multiple inspection robots and specialized operational devices, achievingdigitalized, environmentally friendly,and intelligentmaintenance of the power network. Currently, these technologies have been applied in fields including renewable energy, transportation,and smart cities, supporting the construction of new industrial systemssolidly.

机器人代替电工!国内首台电力场景人形机器人公开发布

南方电网广东电网公司自主研发的国内首台应用于电力场景的人形机器人,在第26届中国国际高新技术成果交易会(简称“高交会”)上正式亮相,吸引了广泛关注。据南方电网广东电网公司生产技术部副总经理李端姣介绍,这款机器人以其接近真人的外形和多功能操作能力,展现出在电力行业的广阔应用前景,预计明年上半年将投入实际生产场景。

这台机器人身高接近真人,具备灵活的四肢和敏锐的视觉,不仅能像人类一样行走、上下楼梯,还可通过训练完成抓取、按按钮、开关操作、使用电力工具等复杂任务,尤其适用于无人值班变电站中替代人类执行巡检、故障排查等高风险作业。“这是国内首创的电力场景人形机器人,目前处于中试阶段,未来将通过AI技术不断提升智能化水平,实现自主作业。”李端姣表示。

除了人形机器人,广东电网在本届高交会上还展示了多款智能化设备,包括双机械臂配网带电作业机器人、四足巡检机器人、巡检无人机及机库、激光清障仪等。这些智能装备展示了电网运维技术的最新突破,引起了各界的高度关注。

广东电网相关负责人介绍,公司近年来聚焦复杂大电网智能运维技术,构建了包括北斗卫星高精度定位网、设备数字孪生模型网在内的“空-天-地”全景感知巡检网络,并研发了多款巡检机器人及特种作业设备,推动电网运维向数字化、绿色化、智能化方向发展。目前,这些技术已在新能源、交通、智慧城市等领域推广应用,为新型工业体系建设提供了坚实支撑。
