A press conference on promoting the development of inbound tourism in Hunan Province was held recently. At the conference, 2025 was designated as the year for Hunan’s inbound tourism development, and the province has introduced 12 measures to promote the development of its inbound tourism.

Li Aiwu, deputy director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, noted that the 12 measures focused on three factors: resources, tourist countries of origin, and services. These measures aim to promote the high-quality development of Hunan’s inbound tourism, bringing an optimal travel experience to inbound travelers in the following aspects:

-- building a world-class tourism brand;

-- strengthening international communication and overseas promotion of inbound tourism;

-- intensifying guarantees for visa and customs clearance services;

-- improving connectivity and convenience of international transportation;

-- promoting an international level of public services;

-- facilitating the application of entry certificates;

-- optimizing teleservices;

-- facilitating payment options for inbound travelers;

-- improving the shopping environment for inbound tourism;

-- expanding new business formats and new scenes;

-- increasing talent support in inbound tourism; and,

-- giving full play to the guiding role of financial fund.
