Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon. Today, the topic of my speech is Fame-Good or evil. In my opinion, fame can be two-edged sword.

Zhang Ailing张爱玲 said ,“To be Well-known as Early as Possible.”[1] This is a radical view, but there is some truth in it. Fame will bring the convenience of doing things, there will be more resources to contact, there will be more opportunities to present yourself.

Fame is not only beneficial for you , but also worry you. One of the disadvantages of fame is loss of privacy and freedom. You will be followed, just a little negative action, and the next day you will be the front page of the newspaper, you need to be a perfectionist, you will lose your sincere friends and so on.

Someone think being famous is an important factor for success. I do not think so. We have to distinguish between fame and honor. Fame is that you are knew by others. Honor is that you are respected by others. The fame faded out the years, while the honor passed down the years. Fame is often simply a matter of being in the right place at the right time.[2] You know, some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin, some in gloss [3]. How can those who are not worthy of their fame be called successful?

Actually, we just need to be honest and work hard. As for the fame , do not care too much, the value of fame and its trouble is almost equivalent.
