At the conference, Ding Li, Deputy director of Guangzhou Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, introduced three highlights of this year's Spring Festival Flower Fair—early start time, Distinctive features, and stable market trend.

Highlight one: early start time

In 2025, Zengcheng District's flower fair will commence earliest, from January 19th (the 20th day of the 12th lunar month) to the first day of the Lunar New Year, spanning 10 days. Nansha District's flower fair starts on January 22nd, with other districts following suit, all ending at 2 A.M. on January 29th.

Highlight two: distinctive features

The Yuexiu District West Lake Flower Fair will introduce 10 intangible cultural heritage projects, including ivory carving, olive kernel carving, and lion dance, to showcase the Guangfu cultural heritage. The Tianhe District Flower Fair will highlight themes such as "Welcoming the 15th National Games," "Charming Guangzhou," and the "Vibrant Bay Area." With sport elements, the flower fair arch is designed in the shape of a "sports ribbon," and the stalls are set along the track, Displaying stories of Tianhe District's connection with the 6th, and 9th National Games, and the Asian Games, creating a strong atmosphere of welcoming the National Games.

Highlight three: stable market trend

Research indicates a diverse and stable supply of annual flowers in Guangzhou. Bestsellers include Phalaenopsis, lilies, gladiolus, chrysanthemums, and winter jasmine, with approximately 45 million pots/stems available. Prices have varied; potted tangerines have seen a price increase, but other varieties are generally cheaper than in previous years.

广州一年一度的“迎春花市”即将登场，今年有哪些亮点？1月17日，广州2025年春节期间保障工作新闻发布会举行。会上，广州市市场监督管理局副局长丁力介绍了今年迎春花市的三大亮点——时间提前、各具特色、行情整体平稳。

亮点一：花市时间提前

2025年广州传统迎春花市最早开锣的是增城区的花市，从1月19日（腊月二十）到大年初一共计10天。紧随其后的是南沙花市，1月22日开放，其他各区花市也都将陆续开市，一直持续到1月29日（大年初一）凌晨两点。

亮点二：花市各具特色

越秀区西湖花市现场将引入牙雕、榄雕、醒狮等10个非遗项目参与展示，彰显广府文化底蕴。天河区的花市突出喜迎十五运会、魅力广州、活力湾区等主题，融入体育元素，花市牌楼以“运动飘带”为造型，花市档口沿跑道设置，现场展示天河区与六运会、九运会和亚运会的故事，营造全民迎全运的浓厚氛围。

亮点三：花市行情整体平稳

从目前调研情况来看，今年广州的年花品类多样，供应也是总体稳定。热销品种主要集中在蝴蝶兰、百合、剑兰、菊花、串串金等，上市量约4500万盆/株，至于价格则有涨有跌，除盆橘价格出现上涨外，其他品种的价格普遍比往年便宜。
