General Information

The International Conference on Advanced Steels (ICAS) is the merging of two international conference series: “International Symposium on Ultrafine Grained Structures (ISUGS)”since 2001 and “International Conference on Advanced Structural Steels (ICASS)”since 2002. The merged ICAS 2010 was held in Guilin, China, followed by ICAS 2015 in Yokohama, Japan, ICAS 2018 in Jeju, Korea and ICAS 2022 in Tsukuba, Japan. We sincerely welcome you to contribute and participate in the 8th ICAS 2025, both from academic or industrial perspective.

国际先进钢会议（ICAS）是两个国际会议系列的合并：自2001年以来的“超细晶粒结构国际研讨会（ISUGS）”和自2002年起的“先进结构钢国际会议（ICASS）”。合并后的ICAS 2010在中国桂林举行。随后是2015年在日本横滨举行的ICAS会议、2018年在韩国济州举行的ICAS会议，以及2022年在日本筑波举行的ICAS会议。我们诚挚地欢迎您参加第八届ICAS 2025，并从学术或工业角度为本次会议做出贡献。

Scope

This conference will cover the progress, challenges and opportunities related to advanced Steels. This includes the effects of decarbonisation on iron and steel development, the impact of new technologies such as AI/ML and advances in our understanding of the basic concepts of these steel types.Topics include but are not limited to:
