Explore markets, enjoy flower seas, attend lantern festivals, and soak in hot springs. During the 2025 Spring Festival, rural tourism in Guangzhou is becoming increasingly popular. A series of colorful and exciting events themed on the Chinese New Year offer rich cultural and tourism experiences for locals and visitors.

In Jiangxia Village, Huangpu District, the Rice Field Art Spring Festival blends intangible cultural heritage with folk traditions, featuring activities such as fish lantern parades, China-chic amusement parks, Chinese New Year-themed markets, handicraft workshops, and rice field family fun parties. In Conghua's Wenquan Town, the Chinese New Year Carnival immerses visitors in the winter charm of "hot springs + traditional customs." The 4th Bonsai Festival at Ruiling Village, Chini Town, Huadu District, offers a refreshing sight of greenery and vitality.

Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area

The scenic areas of Baiyun Mountain, Lianhua Mountain, Liuxi River National Forest Park, and Shimen National Forest Park are all in full bloom. The Hydrangea Show at Mingchun Valley on Baiyun Mountain, the Orchid Show at Moxing Ridge, and the Tulip Show at Yuntai Garden have attracted many tourists, who are strolling the "flower paths." The plum blossoms at Liuxi River National Forest Park are still in full bloom, drawing many visitors who drive out to enjoy a "snow-seeking plum blossom" tour. The early cherry blossoms are in full bloom at Conghua Tianshi Sakura Park and In Huadu District, the early cherry blossoms at Habitat Creek Villa are in full bloom, creating a romantic springtime atmosphere. At Shimen National Forest Park, nearly 100 acres of rapeseed flowers form a "golden sea," extending along the Tianchi Lake in vibrant beauty.

During the day, tourists enjoy the flowers, and at night, they marvel at the lights. The "Village Gala" performances are particularly lively this year. The rural stages glow in the night, offering diverse activities like "night tours," "night food," "night shopping," and "night photography," allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the unique charm and culture of Guangzhou's rural nightscapes.

In Nansha District, the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Lantern Festival features a 5.3-kilometer-long lantern display, covering areas such as Puzhou Garden, Nansha Tianhou Palace, and Coastal Park, creating a dazzling lantern park that blends Lingnan style, Chinese tradition, and an international flair.

Notably, this year's rural festive atmosphere will continue to thrive until the Lantern Festival. In Huangpu District, the 2025 Luogang Xiangxue Cultural Season and Huangpu's First Lantern Festival will combine the plum blossom theme of Xiangxue Park with the traditional theme ofthe Yearof the Snake, allowing visitors to embark on a delightful and romantic Chinese New Year experience among the flower seas and lanterns.

广州过年：乡村年味暖人心｜请到广东过大年

逛集市、赏花海、观灯会、叹温泉……2025年春节期间，广州乡村游备受欢迎，一系列丰富多彩的新春主题活动，为市民游客提供了丰富的节日文旅消费选择。

黄埔区迳下村的稻田新春艺术节融合了非遗民俗文化，推出鱼灯巡游、国潮趣味游园会、寻找中国年味市集、非遗手工技艺体验以及稻田亲子游乐派对等多项主题活动；从化区温泉镇推出的新春嘉年华活动，让市民游客在冬日沉浸式体验“温泉+年俗”文化的魅力；花都区赤坭镇瑞岭村第四届盆景节满眼绿色、生机勃勃。

白云山风景区、莲花山旅游区、流溪河国家森林公园、石门国家森林公园等地迎来盛花期。白云山鸣春谷绣球花展、摩星岭兰花展、云台花园郁金香展吸引了不少游客结伴走“花路”。流溪河国家森林公园梅花仍盛，不少游客也抓紧自驾前往游玩观赏，开启踏“雪”寻梅之旅。从化天适樱花悠乐园、花都世间香境七溪地早樱盛放，打造春日浪漫基地。石门国家森林公园近百亩油菜花化身“黄金花海”，沿着天池绵延烂漫……

昼游花海夜赏灯，“村晚”热闹开演。今年的广州乡村之夜格外热闹，万家灯火中的乡村舞台大放异彩，串起了“夜游”“夜食”“夜购”“夜拍”等丰富多彩的文旅业态，让游客充分感受到广州乡村夜晚的韵味与风情。

在南沙区，2025年粤港澳大湾区灯会打造长达5.3公里的灯带，覆盖蒲洲花园、南沙天后宫和滨海公园，营造极富岭南风、中国味、国际范儿的彩灯游园会。

值得一提的是，今年乡村浓浓的烟火气息将持续发酵至元宵佳节。在黄埔区，2025萝岗香雪文化季暨黄埔首届花灯会将以香雪公园梅花元素结合传统蛇年主题，让游客在花海与花灯之间，开启惊喜浪漫的新春体验。
