At the 2025 Boao Forum for Asia, John Keane, professor at the University of Sydney highlighted China has advocated many major initiatives in matters of global cooperation during an interview with SFC journalist. He mentioned of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), indicating that the AIIB is an example of of cross-border cooperation. He considered China has an historic interest in preserving and nurturing cross-border cooperation.
