In the warm spring months of March, Beijing, an ancient capital of thousands of years, welcomed a major event in the field of traditional Chinese medicine - the "Chinese Medicine Connects the World, Jointly Draws a Blueprint for Health" Academic Annual Meeting of the International Exchange and Cooperation Committee of the Chinese Society for Integrative Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. The annual meeting was hosted by the China Society of Integrative Chinese Medicine, organized by the International Exchange and Cooperation Work Committee, and co-organized by the Gushi Tang TCM Chain Management Group, aiming to promote international exchange and cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine and jointly chart a grand blueprint for global health. Director Liang Shijie, an expert in the capital, served as an invited guest and representative of Beijing Guosheng Tang Traditional Chinese Medicine Expert. Beijing Houde, the executive chairman of the physician group of Huazhong Hospital, the director of the pharmaceutical group's "Access to the United Nations Qi Huang Project" working committee, and the director of pharmaceutical group "Psycho Advisory Research Center" attended this unprecedented academic event.

On March 29, when the sun was shining, the crowd inside Liaoning Hall A, on the 8th floor of Liaoning Building in Beijing was filled with loud voices. At the opening ceremony, Wang Xiaofen, a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, vice president of the Chinese Society for the Combined Treatment of Western Medicine and director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Work Committee, delivered a welcoming speech. With full enthusiasm and sincere words, she expressed warm welcome and high respect to the participants. Later, Lv Wenliang, Vice President and Secretary General of China Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Vice President of Guang'an Men hospital of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Du Zhiliang, member of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the People's Political Consultative Conference, founder and chairman of Gushi Tang Traditional Chinese Medicine Chain Management Group, member of Communist Party Committee of Beijing Municipal Health Commission, deputy director (and chairman), secretary of the Communist Party of Beijing Municipal Administration of Traditional Chinese medicine, Luo Zenggang, Director of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, and Wang Guoqiang, Former Director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, delivered speeches one after another. They elaborated on the importance and prospects of the cause of traditional Chinese medicine from different perspectives, laying a solid foundation for the conference. The proposal aims to call on the scholars of TCM and WM to work together to promote the international spread and development of TCM, and to contribute to the health and well-being of people all over the world.
