The studio is a composite reality that by choice and vocation handles projects of diverse nature ranging fromarchitecture to interiors, design and multimedia, up to environmental development, new services and conceptactivities. The Workshop is a structure that includes a group of architects, interior designers, graphic and productdesigners, and also enjoys the services of a network of international collaborators from a variety of professionalbackgrounds.
Cibic -+Workshop collaborates on an ongoing basis with an international network of universities, research centresand business incubators for the development of new design methods.
In 2020 Cibic -+Workshop opened a new office in Shanghai, with a focus on creating Meaningful and culturallyrelevant objects, spaces and communities, both public and private, through addressing the issues we see as mostimportant to society today.

On-Site Architect
Location: Du Zhai, 280 meters south of the intersection of Chengliu South Road and Wenbei Road, Jiading District, Shanghai, near Metro Line 11, ChenXiang road Station
Job Description:
We are looking to hire an On-Site Architectural Designer to join our design team and take responsibility for the construction management and execution on-site for the Du Zhai project.
Job Requirements:
Extensive architectural design experience, with in-depth knowledge of all aspects of construction.
Proficient in English, capable of effective communication with the foreign Art Director.
Strong communication and coordination skills, able to act as the intermediary between the client and the Art Director, ensuring smooth communication and timely feedback. Able to effectively receive client feedback and assist the Art Director in decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with the client and provide feedback when the Art Director makes design changes.
Full-time presence on-site during workdays, responsible for reporting work progress and ensuring smooth project implementation.
Communicate and negotiate effectively with the construction team on-site to ensure that the design requirements align perfectly with the actual construction.
Ideal Candidate:
Well-educated and shows enthusiasm and positivity toward the project.
Rich architectural work experience, with excellent on-site coordination skills.
Familiar with reviewing design drawings and capable of producing high-quality drawings, including construction drawings and rendering.
Strong communication skills, able to assist the client and Art Director in effective communication.
Salary:
Annual salary of 180,000 RMB, with a monthly salary of 15,000 RMB(Pre-tax).

Interior Intern
Meantime,We are currently looking for an Interior Design Intern to join our studio.
The position is open as part of the studio’s ongoing recruitment efforts.
Responsibilities
Assist lead designers with drawing production, 3D modeling, and preparation of presentation materials;
Organize design references and material samples, and support the development of design proposals;
Participate in site measurements and documentation work;
Communicate effectively in both Chinese and English — good written and spoken English is required.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in Interior Design, Environmental Design, or a related major;
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop;
Strong communication skills and a collaborative working attitude;
Available at least 3 days per week, with a minimum internship duration of 3 months.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior internship experience or completion of independent design projects is a plus;
Familiarity with tools such as Lumion, Enscape, InDesign, etc. is preferred.
Internship Benefits
Compensation is negotiable based on skill level and availability;
Outstanding interns may be considered for long-term or full-time positions.
