The bustling cherry blossom limited-edition jewelry market hums with crowds, the pink gemstones on display shimmering against the backdrop of soft-pink petals of cherry blossoms. Meanwhile, the aroma of freshly baked pastries mingles with that of the rich, earthy coffee. Together, these scenes in the University Hub of Hongshan craft a tapestry showcasing Wuhan’s magical spring season.

3月18日上午，“樱耀洪山大学城 潮玩地大珠宝街”嘉年华在武汉市洪山区关山街道阳光社区盛大启幕。哪吒主题喷绘、樱花大道等氛围营造独具匠心，古风婚礼、民族服饰秀场、哪吒主题cosplay巡游等活动精彩纷呈，吸引了众多博主和市民前来打卡。

On the morning of March 18th, the carnival themed “Cherry Blossoms Illuminate Hongshan University Hub, Jewelry Street at China University of Geosciences Sparks Fun” commenced in style in Yangguang Community, Guanshan Street, in Wuhan’s Hongshan District. The event drew crowds with its ingenious installations, such as the Nezha-themed murals and the Cherry Blossom Avenue. An array of performances like the ancient-style wedding ceremony, ethnic costume show, and the Nezha-themed cosplay parade were a hit among bloggers and locals who were eager to capture each moment.

此次活动以樱花为媒，以文化为魂，通过高校、社区、商圈的紧密联动，为居民和游客带来了一场别开生面的文化体验，有力推动了区域消费活力和文旅产业升级。据了解，本次活动将持续至3月31日。

The “newlyweds”, donning traditional Ming-style wedding attire, recreated age-old nuptial rituals beneath the cherry blossom trees, showcasing the solemnity and romantic allure of traditional Chinese weddings.

Fourteen students from South-Central Minzu University showcased traditional Uygur and Kazakh dances, while students from Wuhan Textile University presented a Hanfu runway show that bridged ancient and modern aesthetics, creating a beautiful interplay of traditional ethnic culture and contemporary art.

Patiguli, a student from South-Central Minzu University, expressed, “Dressed in the vibrant traditional attire of the Uygur ethnic group, I danced my heart away at the carnival. The upbeat melodies intertwined with the spring cherry blossoms, every movement radiating the unique charm of our ethnic cultures. Taking the Uygur dance as a brush, we painted a beautiful image of ethnic diversity and youthful energy, at a carnival celebrating shimmery jewels and delicate cherry blossoms.”

中国地质大学珠宝学院学子们带来了专业珠宝鉴定服务，并通过现场路演，将矿物晶体标本与珠宝设计巧妙结合，展现“科技+美学”的创新魅力。尤为亮眼的是地大毕业生创业者展示的定制珠宝，他们将校园文化符号转化为可佩戴的艺术品，既彰显青年创业活力，又为珠宝街区注入文化IP新动能。

Students from the Gemological Institute at China University of Geosciences provided expert gemstone appraisal services. Through on-site presentations, they cleverly combined mineral crystal specimens with jewelry designs, showcasing the innovative charm of “technology meets aesthetics”.
