On April 2, dozens of leading Guangdong based enterprises, including XPeng Motors, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings, and BGI Group, signed agreements to participate in the third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), slated for July 2025 in Beijing, as China ramps up efforts to stabilize global industrial networks and showcase technological innovation.

The signing ceremony highlights Guangdong's pivotal role in advancing China's integration into global supply chains. The expo, themed "Linking the World, Creating a Shared Future," will occupy 120,000 square meters, with an expanded emphasis on innovation driven industrial clusters.

The 2025 expo will feature enhanced sector specific displays across six major industrial chains and a dedicated innovation zone under the advanced manufacturing chain to accelerate patent commercialization.

This aligns with China's push to bolster supply chain resilience amid global realignments. Guangdong, contributing over 10% of China's GDP, has mobilized 42 "chain leader" enterprises ranging from AI developers to biotech firms to showcase core technologies.

Last year, 56 Guangdong companies leveraged the expo to secure international deals, with this year's cohort expected to amplify the province's competitiveness in critical sectors like AI, healthcare, and smart infrastructure.

Jiechuang Intelligent Technology, a repeat exhibitor, reported securing over 10 million yuan in African orders and penetrating Southeast Asian markets after its 2023 debut. The firm plans to debut its domestically developed "DeepSeek" hyper converged AI infrastructure at the 2025 expo, targeting global partnerships.

"CISCE provides unmatched access to decision makers across continents," said Yuan Fangzheng, Senior Vice President. Its 2023 exhibition drew over 200 high profile visitors and generated 57 partnership leads, underscoring the event's value as a dealmaking hub.

Healthcare giant Winner Medical, another returning participant, highlighted a surge in global brand recognition and direct client acquisition through previous expos. "Collaborating at CISCE is vital to navigating supply chain challenges," noted Vice President Liu Weiwei, emphasizing cross industry alliances to build internationally competitive industrial clusters.

With global supply chains undergoing historic shifts, CISCE positions itself as a critical platform for foreign investors to tap into China's innovation pipeline and co design next generation industrial ecosystems. Guangdong's heavyweights are already embedded in global tech and manufacturing networks, providing a window into China's strategic priorities, from AI sovereignty to biotech self reliance.
