杭州西站，自2022年正式投入使用，其宏大的规模承载着未来的繁忙与繁荣。具体而言，杭州西站的建筑面积高达51.222万平方米，站台规模也颇为壮观，拥有11座站台和20条线路。包括商合杭高铁、湖杭铁路、杭温高铁、杭临绩高铁以及沪乍杭高铁，并且于2025年1月开通了G99次列车由杭州西站直达香港，全程用时约6小时46分钟，相较于杭州东站出发节省了约3.5小时。此外，杭州西站还接入了两条地铁线路，分别是正在建设中的杭州轨道交通快线和杭州地铁3号线，市内交通便捷。
Since its official opening in 2022, Hangzhou West Railway Station has stood as a grand transportation hub, embracing the future with its bustling activity and prosperity. Specifically, the station spans an impressive 512,220 square meters, featuring a vast platform layout with 11 platforms and 20 tracks. It serves multiple high-speed rail lines, including the Shanghe-Hangzhou High-Speed Railway, Huhang Railway, Hangwen High-Speed Railway, Hanglinji High-Speed Railway, and Huzha High-Speed Railway. The G99 high-speed train, launched in January 2025, now operates directly from Hangzhouxi (West) Station to Hong Kong, completing the journey in approximately 6 hours and 46minutes. This new route cuts travel time by around 3.5 hours compared to departures from Hangzhoudong (East) Station. Additionally, the station is connected to two metro lines—the under-construction Hangzhou Express Rail Transit Line and Metro Line 3—ensuring seamless urban transportation.
