Kerrie-Ann Jones, a renowned interior stylist and designer based in Sydney, Australia, has opened a limited-time pop-up gallery in Bondi Beach to celebrate the release of her first book about coffee tables, Curated Style. The exhibition will be held at 17 O 'Brien Street, Bondi, New South Wales, from 21 March to 15 April 2025.

The mirror-polished stainless steel CM794 hanging on the wall is by Clementine Machonachie; The design of the installations to the right of the table is influenced by Brutalism, so their materials and compositions reflect this, including natural scratches, imperfections and the subtle interplay between metallic elements.

At the centre of the space is a pair of rare and striking armchairs, their wooden frames recently restored in Sydney and still in their original brown velvet, bringing them out in their best condition. But there is still a slight flaw on the back of one of the chairs, as if the traces left by time are intriguing.

On one side of the space is a unique Italian coffee table produced in the 1960s, with an ornate rosewood finish and recessed glass countertop, smooth rounded edges and a sculptural base, which is very mechanical, and open sides provide storage space for the user. The rear four-door Brutalist sideboard, made in Italy, is made of wood and brass with sculptural geometry.

The Maralunga sofa is a famous piece in the history of Italian design, designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina in 1973. Once introduced, it quickly became an icon of mid-century modern furniture, known for its unique adjustable back and emphasis on comfort. Even now, the folding function is still smooth, the fabric is in excellent condition, and there is little damage except for small patches of faded parts and wear and small cracks caused by moving over the years.
