A "Going Global—Overseas Business Opportunities Exchange Meeting in Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Indonesia (Hunan Station)" was held at the China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Innovation Demonstration Park in Changsha recently.

The two-day meeting focused on industrial enterprises' practical needs for expanding overseas business. It publicized foreign trade and investment policies for industrial Sectors, systematically interpreted the guidelines for industrial enterprises to go global, and analyzed policy dividends under the background of the 50th anniversary of China-Thailand diplomatic relations and Indonesia's new policies. Several key policies were highlighted, including Thailand's BOI (Board of Investment) incentive policies, Indonesia's New Investment Law, and Saudi Arabia's relaxation of foreign investment access and ownership restrictions.

The meeting was hosted by the Center for International Economic and Technological Cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

To promote international cooperation in industrial and supply chains and facilitate the steady growth of industrial economy, the center initiated a "Foreign Trade and Investment Exchange, Matchmaking, and Public Training Sessions in Industrial Sector" serial events nationwide this year. Eight sessions have been held in Guangdong Province, and this ninth session was the first one outside of Guangdong.
