景泰蓝艺术博物馆
Cloisonné Art Museum
北京景泰蓝又名铜胎掐丝珐琅，起源于元代，兴盛于明代景泰年间。该项技艺是用铜作胎，将细铜丝轧扁后以手工制成各种图案，掐、焊、贴在胎体上，再施珐琅釉料，经过烧制、磨光、镀金等多道工序后制作出成品。器形典雅，纹样繁复，色彩清丽，给人以圆润坚实、金光灿烂的艺术感受。在紫禁城金銮殿、国子监辟雍宫的陈设中，皆可见其华贵身影，既是祭祀礼器，也作赏赐重宝，一度成为宫廷文化的象征。
景泰蓝制作技艺保护传承基地，厂内设有景泰蓝艺术博物馆、技艺展示区、互动体验区等。
Beijing Cloisonné, also known as fetal copper filigree enamel, traces its origins to the Yuan Dynasty and flourished during the Jingtai reign of the Ming Dynasty. Starting with a copper core, this technique requires hand- flattening fine copper wires and crafting them into elaborate patterns.
Enamel glaze is then applied, followed by a series of procedures
including firing, polishing, and gilding. Gracefully shaped, intricately patterned,and adorned with vibrant, crystalline colors, these pieces evoke a sense of solid elegance and radiant brilliance. The opulence of such works graced the Hall of Supreme Harmony of the Forbidden City and the Biyong Hall of the Imperial
Academy as ceremonial vessels and treasured imperial gifts. They were emblems of palace culture.

京作硬木家具制作技艺
Beijing-Style hardwood Furniture
京作硬木家具制作技艺源自宫廷，与苏作、广作并称为中国硬木家具的三大流派。明代御用监、清代造办处都曾广集天下珍贵木材和名师巧匠，崇文门外的鲁班馆则是民间制造的中心。
所用木材主要选自我国南方及东南亚地区的紫檀木、黄花梨、酸枝木等，历经设计、木作、雕刻、烫蜡等工序，以科学精密的榫卯结构组装成型，通体无钉无胶。其造型雍容华贵，结构牢固耐久，集艺术性与实用性于一体。
龙顺成是京作硬木家具的代表性老字号，其创办的博物馆内主要展出明清古董家具、新中式木质家具等。
Beijing-style hardwood furniture, originating from imperial courts, ranks among the three great
schools of Chinese hardwood furniture alongside Suzhou and Guangzhou styles. The Ming Dynasty's Directorate for Imperial Accouterments and the Qing Dynasty's Imperial Workshops sourced rare woods and master craftsmen from across the nation. The Luban Hall,
located outside Chongwenmen, is the center of civilian craftsmanship.
Chosen from the finest timbers of South China and Southeast Asia, including padauk, huanghuali, and rosewood, the wood undergoes a painstaking process of design, carpentry, carving, and hot wax
treatment. The components are assembled using precision-engineered mortise-and-tenon joints without a single nail or drop of glue.
The final creations are magnificent in form, robust in structure, with exquisite artistry and enduring practicality.
Long Shun Cheng is an iconic time-honored brand of Beijing hardwood furniture. The museum it
established primarily showcases Ming and Qing antique furniture, as well as new Chinese-style wooden furniture.

天坛神乐署中和韶乐
Zhonghe Shaoyue Performance
at the Divine Music Administration,
Temple of Heaven
中和韶乐源于古代雅乐，融礼、乐、歌、舞为一体，是明清两朝宫廷举行祭祀、朝会及宴飨活动时使用的典礼音乐，表达人们对天地、祖先的敬畏。所用乐器由金、石、土、木、丝、革、匏、竹8种材料制成，有编钟、笛、箫、埙、笙、琴、瑟等16种乐器。五声音阶，一字一音，八音具备，有乐必有歌，保存和延续了先秦雅乐的特征，符合儒家“大乐与天地同和”的礼乐思想。
神乐署位于天坛西门南侧，曾是管理祭天大典乐舞的机构和排演中和韶乐的地点。如今，千年雅乐在此被重新奏响。
Zhonghe Shaoyue, born of ancient ceremonial music, is a symphony of ritual, music, song, and dance. In the Ming and Qing courts, it rang out
through sacred offerings, formal gatherings, and royal feasts as a tribute to heaven and ancestry. Its melodies flow from instruments made
from nature's gifts-gold and stone, earth and wood, silk and leather, gourd and bamboo. A total of 16 musical instruments are used, like
bianzhong (chime bells) , di (Chinese flute), xiao (vertical bamboo flute) , xun (ocarina), sheng (free-reed mouth organ),and guqin (ancient zither of China). The pentatonic scale, with each character sounding a distinct note, encompasses all eight tones; the presence of melody naturally invites song, thus safeguarding and continuing the essence of pre-Qin refined music, in line with the Confucian principle that great music resonates with the universe.
Located south of the west gate of the Temple of Heaven, the Divine Music Administration once managed the ceremonial music and dance for imperial heaven worship ceremony and hosted rehearsals for Zhonghe Shaoyue. Centuries later, these ethereal harmonies grace the air again.

全聚德（前门起源店）
Quanjude (Qianmen Street)
全聚德烤鸭起源于清代同治三年，首家店铺位于前门大街。鸭子以专门饲养的北京填鸭为原料，脂肪大部分均匀地分布在肌肉组织纹理中，肉质柔嫩。该店以果木为燃料，将鸭坯挂在特制的烤炉中明火烤制。整套工艺由宰烫、制坯、烤制、片鸭4道工序、31个环节组成。
The technique of Quanjude hanging-oven roasted duck dates back to the third year of the Tongzhi reign(1864),Qing Dynasty, with its first establishment located on Qianmen Street. Specially raised Peking stuffed ducks, prized for their delicate marbling and tender flesh, are suspended within a specially-made oven and roasted to perfection over an open fruitwood fire. The whole process consists of 4 procedures (slaughtering and scalding, preparation, roasting, and slicing) and 31 steps.
