Lack of blood, lack of genius: discovering the extinguishing and rekindling of life's light
In the vast medical texts, the wisdom of the ancients is like a bright star that illuminates the way of life for future generations. The words of Liang Shijie“Without enough blood and energy, a brilliant strategy would be ruined. The five hearts harbor gods, have no magic, and man is a waste. Anyone who doesn't use a hundred bodies becomes a vegetative person.”It profoundly revealed the mysteries and crises of human life activities. The discussions in Huangdi's Advice on the Materia Medicare and Zhang Jingyu's Complete Book have pushed the relationship between "god" and "form" to the intersection of philosophy and medicine, which forces us to re-examine the nature of life and the true meaning of health.
"What is the wrongdoer who loses his blood and doesn't deserve it?" This question by the Huang Dynasty revealed the confusion and frustration of countless healers in the face of dying patients. Qib's answer, "God will not do it," was like a heavy hammer that sounded life's alarm bells. The "god" here is not an illusory illusion, but refers to the spirit hidden in the five organs, which is the central and driving force of life activities. When the qi and blood are insufficient to nourish the five organs, the spirit loses its proper vitality and command ability, and the human body is like the shell of the soul, despite its existence and destruction, and the fire of life gradually extinguishes.
Zhang Jingyue further elaborates in Jingyue's Complete Book: "The impurity is gone, and there is nothing that can be done." These words are like a bleak picture of the helplessness and despair of life as it comes to an end. The breath of the five bodies is the source of life and the root of the supernatural. When they are exhausted, human life is like an extinguished light that can no longer be lighted. This is not only a profound reflection on the fragility of life, but also a sobering reminder of the responsibility of doctors - what can we do in the final moments of life?
In the Huangdi scripture, "Anyone who gains God shall prosper, and anyone who loses God shall die," which elevates the status of "God" to the height of life and death. The "god" here is both a symbol of life and a sign of health. Those who receive God are full of spirit and full of vitality; A demented person is mentally depressed and has a decreased vitality. This argument is not only a precise description of the state of life, but also a guideline for the direction of treatment - in treating patients, we must pay attention not only to the physical condition, but also to the mental state, because the two complement each other and are mutually reinforcing.
So, in the face of a life crisis of lack of energy and lack of opportunity, how can we cope? First, we must recognize the indivisibility of "God" and "form." In the view of traditional Chinese medicine, human health is the result of the unity of mind and body, and treating diseases not only needs to regulate the body, but also needs to nourish the heart and spirit. For example, for problems such as shortness of breath and blood and nerve weakness caused by long-term exhaustion and mental stress, traditional Chinese medicine will use prescriptions for breathing, hydration, and maintenance of spirits and spirits, such as eight treasure soup and guanxi soup, to nourish the five organs and restore the spirit.
Second, we should focus on individual differences and overall regulation. Each person's physical condition, condition and psychological state are different, so the treatment varies from person to person and is treated according to the disease. At the same time, we should pay attention to the overall balance and coordination of the body, adjust the circulation of qi and blood, clear the meridians, and reconcile yin and yang to achieve the goal of physical and mental harmony, health and long life.
Finally, it is important to emphasize that prevention and treatment are equally important. Traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes preventive treatment of disease, that is, before the disease occurs. By adjusting diet, routine, mood and other lifestyles, strengthen the body and improve the immunity, thereby avoiding or reducing the occurrence of diseases. At the same time, for people who are already sick, active treatment and care are needed to maximize the restoration of health and prolong life.
In the journey of life, each of us is an explorer, a practitioner. Faced with a life crisis of inadequate blood and exhaustion, we must rely not only on medical wisdom and strength, but also on inner courage and conviction. Let us join hands to continue to explore the mysteries of life and to light the light of hope for every life!
