“give you”一般用于后面跟着具体的东西时，如“I can give you some details”。它一般是不会单独使用的。

机率很“大”不说“big”

×：chances are big

√：chances are high

在中文口语中，大家都会说“机率很大”，但是英文中没有这样的说法，而是用“high/low”来表达机率的高低。

e.g. Chances are high that you won the match.

“不怕冷”别说“not afraid of cold”

×：I'm not afraid of cold.

√：The cold doesn't bother me.

“be afraid of sth”害怕的是具体的某物，比如“I'm afraid of snake.”
