On the evening of May 24, the Demonstration Zone for Historical and Cultural Protection and Utilization of Yueyang Tower opened in Yueyang City. The demonstration zone consists of historical downtown areas and historical and cultural neighborhoods. As a core project of the 4th Hunan Tourism Development Conference, it demonstrates the unique city style of "Beautiful Dongting Lake and Splendid Yueyang Tower". There are now 59 historical and 118 traditional buildings renovated in the zone, with 73 cultural and creative artistic stores, intangible cultural heritage workshops, immersive performing arts, and other characteristic business formats established.
