On May 18， the results of the 22nd (2024) National Selection of Top Ten Museum Exhibition Excellence were announced. “Qingzhou Museum Historical Exhibition： The First State in the Eastern Land of Beauty” emerged as a winner from 161 nationwide applications， becoming the sole project from Weifang City to secure this prestigious award.

The exhibition showcases the essence of Chinese traditional culture through its rich and distinctive collections. It employs a “1+122” narrative framework， using Qingzhou，a small city， to illustrate the grandeur of China and its millennia-long history. The “1” refers to a unified historical timeline serving as the core design philosophy， spanning ten thousand years of civilization. By anchoring the local history of Qingzhou within the broader narrative of Chinese civilization’s origins， the exhibition offers a “small-place， big-picture” perspective. The “122” comprises 1 comprehensive historical overview， 2 thematic artifact displays， and 2 major cultural narratives. Rooted in the historical overview， the exhibition enriches its depth through four thematic lenses： “Porcelain as a Vessel of Philosophy”， “Literature as a Record of History”， “Unification of All Realms”， and “Family and Nation Under Heaven”， creating a comprehensive and layered storytelling experience.
“信美东方第一州——青州市博物馆历史陈列”以丰富且独具特色的藏品突出展示中华优秀传统文化特质，构建起“1+122”叙事体系，以小城见大国，小县城讲好大历史。“1”指的是1条历史主线，是整个展览设计理念的指引。它贯通万年文明脉络，以中华文明发展的时间线为轴，将青州地方史融入华夏文明起源叙事，以小见大。“122”指的是1个历史通览、2个特色文物展示和2大重点文化叙事。植根于历史通览，从“瓷以载道”“文以传史”“四海一统”“家国天下”四个角度，丰富展览内涵，完善展览体系。

Organized into six historical modules， it highlights Qingzhou’s role in Chinese civilization， showcasing archaeological treasures and representative artifacts from diverse eras and categories. Leveraging cutting-edge technology， including digital animations and interactive installations， the exhibition brings to life the cultural relics embodying the heritage of various dynasties and ethnic groups. Visitors are immersed in an interactive experience that vividly illustrates the dynamic history of ethnic integration， underscoring China’s “pluralistic unity” civilizational framework.
青州市博物馆在8000平方米的空间里，用2000多件文物阐释青州10000年人类史、7000年文化史和5000年文明史，用六大历史板块聚焦中华文明的青州篇章，汇聚考古成果，展示各时期、各门类的代表性文物。依托蕴含各时期、各民族文化内涵的文物，通过科技赋能，借助数字动画等展示手段，让观众在互动体验中，直观感受民族交融的鲜活历史，凸显“多元一体”的文明格局。

Weifang’s Vast Ten-Thousand-Mu Salt Fields Usher in Bountiful Harvest
潍坊万亩盐田迎丰收
The salt is as white as snow， and the harvest is like a painting. In May， as the golden season for raw salt production arrives， major salt fields in Binhai District are bustling with the harvest of “first-raked salt”.
盐白似雪，丰收如画。5月，正是原盐生产的黄金季。眼下，滨海区各大盐场“头耙盐”进入收捞季。
The harvested raw salt is stacked into towering “salt mountains”.
收捞的原盐被堆成了一座座高高的“盐山”。
At the Yangkou Salt Field of Shandong Haihua Group， the air hums with the roar of machinery. Salt transport trucks roll continuously across glistening salt pans， while mechanical rollers churn up layers of crystalline salt waves. Sparkling salt grains fly like shattered jade， accumulating into towering “salt mountains” that dominate the landscape， painting a vivid picture of harvest-time industriousness.
在山东海化集团羊口盐场，盐池里车轮滚滚、马达轰鸣，一辆辆运盐车来回穿梭，机械滚轮翻涌起层层盐浪，晶莹的盐粒如碎玉飞溅，一座座晶莹洁白的“盐山”渐渐高耸，处处是原盐丰收的繁忙景象。
The“first-raked salt” in Binhai District has been fully harvested， with each salt field resembling a palette.
滨海区“头耙盐”全面开捞，一片片盐田宛如调色盘。
During this critical “first-raked salt” harvest period， salt field workers start harvesting at 6 a.m. and finish at 6 p.m.， working overtime to expedite the harvesting process and avoid delaying the growth of the next batch of raw salt. The “first-raked salt” harvest is expected to yield 580，000 tons of raw salt， with completion anticipated by the end of May.
目前正处于“头耙盐”收捞关键期，盐场员工从早上6点开捞，到晚上6点才收工，加班加点推进收捞进程，以免耽误下一茬原盐生长。“头耙盐”预计可收捞原盐58万吨，5月底可全部完成。

Binhai District produces approximately 4 million tons of raw salt annually. Its brine comprehensive utilization industry has evolved from simple salt production and bromine extraction to a complete industrial chain featuring high-end bromine deep processing and raw salt refinement. This transformation significantly enhances the added value of the product， shifting the region from “resource-dependent” operations to a holder of high-end industrial chains， and from “market competition” to wielding market pricing power. This strategic upgrade has become a cornerstone of Binhai District’s high-quality economic and social development.
滨海区每年原盐产量在400万吨左右。卤水综合利用产业已从简单的卤水制盐、提溴发展到高端的溴素深加工、原盐深加工等较为完整的产业链条，产品附加值大大提高，实现了从“吃资源饭”到拥有高端产业链，从“抢市场”到拥有市场定价权的转化，为滨海区经济社会高质量发展作出重要贡献。
