Air China stated on Wednesday that flight CA856 from London to Beijing experienced a mechanical fault on Tuesday, requiring a precautionary landing. A replacement aircraft was dispatched, which allowed the flight to arrive safely at Beijing Capital Airport at 4:40 am on Wednesday.
