前言

今年是深圳经济特区成立45周年。四十五载风云激荡，一座城市从边陲小镇跃升为现代化国际都市，其文化脉络与艺术精神亦在时代浪潮中悄然生根、蓬勃生长。深圳美术馆（前身为深圳展览馆）于1976年建馆，作为深圳经济特区成立初期唯一的美术展览机构，不仅是艺术的陈列之所，更是城市记忆的容器和文化实践的现场，它以艺术之名见证并参与了深圳沧海桑田般的蜕变。

自建馆以来，深圳美术馆一直致力于中国美术的弘扬传播，以及对深圳美术事业发展的梳理与研究。本次展览以“春风画卷”为题，意在回溯改革开放之初深圳美术的探索与开拓。我们以深圳美术馆馆藏作品为线索，将目光聚焦在1985年发生在深圳的艺术事件和收藏于深圳的艺术作品上，并辅以书信、照片、账单、录像等珍贵文献，试图重构一段被岁月尘封却依然炽热的历史图景。这些作品涵盖油画、国画、版画、水彩等多种媒介，不仅展现了当时美术创作的丰富面貌，也记录了全国艺术家与深圳本地画家对特区文化建设的大力支持和积极参与。透过这些作品与文献，我们看到的不仅是深圳美术发展史的片段，更是推动观念变革、塑造城市精神认同的力量。我们期待在深圳画家、学者与广大市民的支持下，共同追寻与丰富特区早期美术发展的历史记忆，继续征集相关文献与作品，以期拼缀出改革开放以来深圳美术波澜壮阔的完整历史画卷。

值此深圳经济特区成立45周年之际，我们以这场展览致敬所有为这座城市灌注心血的建设者与艺术家。愿观众能在此倾听历史的回响，感受春风吹拂之下，艺术与城市共同生长的温度与力量。

Introduction

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. Over the past 45 years, Shenzhen has transformed from a border town into a modern international metropolis, with its culture and art thriving vigorously. Shenzhen Art Museum, formerly known as Shenzhen Exhibition Hall, opened to the public in 1976 and was the only art exhibition institution in the early days of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. It is not only a venue for art exhibitions, but also a carrier of urban memories and a site for cultural practice. In the name of art, it has witnessed and participated in Shenzhen’s remarkable development.

Since its establishment, Shenzhen Art Museum has been committed to promoting Chinese art as well as researching the art in Shenzhen. Titled “Cradled in the Spring Breeze”, this exhibition aims to look back on the artistic exploration in Shenzhen at the dawn of China’s reform and opening-up. With all the works on display that are selected from the collection of Shenzhen Art Museum, the exhibition can be regarded as a guide, directing us to the art events that took place in Shenzhen in 1985 and to the artworks that are collected by the museums here. Meanwhile, the letters, photos, bills, and videos that are on view here are organized in an attempt to reconstruct a historical scene that has been buried by time but still remains significant. The artworks on display include oil paintings, Chinese ink and wash paintings, prints, and watercolor paintings. These not only showcase the diverse art creation at that time, but also record the active participation of Shenzhen-based painters and artists from other parts of China in the cultural development of the city. By viewing these exhibits, what we get is not only fragments of the art history of Shenzhen, but also the latent force for shaping the city’s identity. With the support of Shenzhen’s artists, scholars, and the general public, we look forward to enriching the memories of the art in the Special Economic Zone during the early period of its establishment. We will continue to collect relevant documents and artworks in the hope of piecing together a whole picture of the art history of Shenzhen since the launch of reform and opening-up.

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, we dedicate this exhibition to all the people who have devoted their hearts and efforts to the city. We hope that visitors can hear the echoes of history here and feel the warmth and force of the reciprocity in which art and the city are growing together under the gentle breeze of spring.
