比如,下面这6个就是“看似在偷懒,其实对皮肤好”的习惯。

干皮星人,早上让洗面奶 “歇一歇”

对于干性皮肤来说,早上用清水,晚上用洗面奶(facial cleanser)洗脸的清洁力是完全足够的。干皮的皮脂腺(sebaceous glands)少,分泌的保护性油脂比较少,在本就干燥的冬天更是不够用。洗脸太认真,反而容易让皮脂膜受损,导致脸越来越干;还会洗掉代谢角质细胞(exfoliated skin cells)、微生物(microbes)等,破坏皮肤的防护衣,让病毒、细菌等“不法分子”就会更容易入侵人体。

化妆频率低,其实是在保护皮肤屏障。

一般来说,在“皮肤健康、产品靠谱”的前提下,化妆不会直接伤害皮肤。我们之所以说偷懒可能会让皮肤变好,主要是针对下面这两种情况:

状态不好时,化妆会让本就脆弱的皮肤雪上加霜。比如,冬季皮肤容易干痒,处于比较敏感的状态,这时候如果不小心用了刺激性的化妆品,会很容易导致症状加剧。

化了妆就要卸,频繁卸妆会给皮肤屏障带来一定的压力。所以,有时候懒得化妆,反而是对皮肤的一种保护。

A-avoid:避免阳光直射的时间段出门;

B-block:硬防晒更有效,比如帽子、伞、遮阳镜;

C-cream:涂抹防晒霜。

冬天日照短、阴天多、紫外线(Ultraviolet Ray)弱,加上天气冷,大家一般不会在外面待太久。

对于通勤人来说,戴个有帽檐的帽子,再戴上口罩,把硬防晒做好,就足够糊弄住冬天的紫外线。而且,帽子还能防头冷,减少气温剧烈变化对脑血管(blood vessels)的刺激;口罩戴对的话,有助于防病毒,一举多得。

卸妆一次就够,别让洗面奶 “加餐”

不爱卸两遍妆的人,皮肤屏障会感谢你的!

卸妆是个技术活,不卸不行,卸多了那是更加不行。不少姐妹总觉得用卸妆油卸完妆后脸上残留了一层滑滑的“油膜”,所以会很勤快地用洗面奶再洗一遍。

但说实话,这个清洁力度对皮肤来说已经超负荷了。长期过度清洁、皂垢沉积,容易导致敏感肌(sensitive skin)。

“油膜”还是个好东西,是配方师大大们特意搬来的救兵,可以帮皮肤锁水保湿,避免卸妆油带走皮脂膜,导致皮肤太干燥。

日常用一次卸妆油(cleansing oil)或者洗卸二合一的产品就够啦。

二来,皮肤的吸收能力是有限的,涂太多层的话,护肤效果不见得会变好,但肤感却一定会变差。

钟情“旧爱”,不轻易换护肤品

最近这几年功效护肤的风很大,厉害的产品确实层出不穷。

但是,功效性成分常常会带有刺激性(例如酸类、VC、A醇等),在没有建立耐受(building tolerance)的情况下高频使用,或在不知情的情况下叠加,大概率会造成皮肤损伤。

Nevertheless, active ingredients like acids, vitamin C, and retinol typically bring about some degree of irritation. Using them regularly without developing tolerance or inadvertently combining them is quite likely to result in skin damage.

总结一下,想让皮肤健康强韧的90分状态,不会过分干燥、风一吹就痛、动不动就脸红,其实并不难。

日常考虑健康维稳,一支温和的洗面奶、一瓶保湿乳液(hydrating lotion)或面霜(face cream),再加上遮阳帽、口罩,春夏秋三个季节可以再加一支肤感好防晒霜,基本就齐活了。

For a simple daily skincare routine aimed at keeping your skin healthy and balanced, all you really require is a mild cleanser, a moisturizing lotion or face cream, and some protective items such as a sun hat and mask. In the spring, summer, and fall, you can include a sunscreen with a nice texture, and that's essentially all you need.

有了强韧的皮肤屏障做基础,可以考虑增加更进阶、更有针对性的抗老、淡斑、祛痘等功效性产品,同一时间段下选择一个产品即可。如果平时有化妆习惯,可以再加一个卸妆油。注意卸了妆就不需要用洗面奶。

做到上面这几点,不乱折腾,就能花10%的钱满足90%的护肤需求,把钱花在刀刃上,不仅对钱包友好,对皮肤也很友好。
