On January 16th, the press conference for the 2025 Asia Yacht Expo was held at the yacht wharf on Changzhou Island, Huangpu District, Guangzhou. It is reported that the show will take place from May 10th to 12th at the Canton Fair Complex and the Changzhou Island Yacht Wharf in Huangpu District, in a combined water and land exhibition format. The Asia Yacht Expo has successfully been held for 11 editions, evolving from a local to an international event, presenting the business card of "a world-class leisure and tourism destination in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA)." The expo this year has added a diving section, focusing on sports and leisure diving as well as engineering diving, covering the industrial chain of diving and marine industry equipment.
Ma Zuiliang, former director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), pointed out that the boat and yacht industry is a comprehensive industry that provides equipment for the national economy and water-based leisure life, and strategically supports all-domain water tourism. A series of favorable policies in recent years have encouraged the integrated development of the yacht industry. Practitioners should seize the market benefits of "marine culture + leisure tourism" to develop China's yacht industry internationally.
Feng Yingxiong, Vice President of the Guangdong Underwater Association, said that under the strategy of a strong maritime country, diving sports are of great significance for cultivating the marine industry. All parties should strengthen cooperation and utilize the expo to promote the innovative achievements of China's diving industry to the world.
Wang Zhaoyun, a standing director of the China Council for International Investment Promotion (CCIIP), stated that Guangdong, as China's "southern gateway," has become a hotbed for the development of the yacht industry with its geographical, industrial, and market advantages. In 2024, Guangdong introduced many policies to support the development of the yacht and water system tourism equipment industry.

1月16日，2025亚洲游艇展新闻发布会于广州· 黄埔长洲岛游艇码头举办。据悉，该展会将于5月10 - 12日在广州·广交会展馆及黄埔区长洲岛游艇码头以水陆联展模式开展。亚洲游艇展已成功举办11届，从本地走向国际，递出“大湾区世界级休闲旅游目的地”名片。本届展会新增潜水板块，重点关注运动休闲潜水与工程潜水，覆盖潜水与海洋工业装备产业链。
国家发改委原司长马最良指出，船艇行业是为国民经济及水上休闲生活提供装备的综合性产业，也是全域水上旅游的战略支撑。近年系列利好政策鼓励游艇产业融合发展，从业者应把握“海洋文化+休闲旅游”市场效益，助力中国游艇产业迈向国际。
广东省潜水运动协会副会长冯应雄称，在海洋强国战略下，潜水运动对培育海洋产业意义重大。各方应加强合作，借助博览会平台将中国潜水产业创新成果推向全球。
中国国际投资促进会常务理事王照云表示，广东作为中国“南大门”，凭借区位、产业和市场优势，已成为游艇产业发展的热土。2024年广东出台多项政策，为游艇及水系旅游装备产业发展提供支撑。
