Genius though she was, she was quite unassuming.

虽然她是个天才,但是很谦逊。

Much though/as I have travelled, I have never seen anyone to equal her in thoroughness ,

whatever the job.(全国研考,94-16)

尽管我旅行过很多地方，但从未见过有人能像她那样无论对什么工作都那么认真仔细的。

另外,although 不能像 though 那样,用作并列连词,表示 and, but，yet ,however 等含义:

He is poor---though he is satisfied with his condition.

他很穷,然而他却对他的状况很满意。

It wasn't my decision, though I think l agree with it,

这不是我的决定,不过我认为我是赞同的。

I knew his story, though I didn't want to tell it just then.

我知道他的身世,但是当时我不想说出来。

although 也不能像 though 那样,用作副词,放在句末:

He said he would write to her. He didn't, though.

他说过他要给她写信的,但是他却没有写。

He is looking fit, though.

但是,他看上去很健康。

You can count on him，though.

但是你可以信赖他。

但是,应当注意,although 比though 的语气强,所以当强调让步关系时多用 although。

Although still young he is going very grey.

他尽管还年轻,但头发却白起来

They are generous although they are poor.

他们虽穷,却很慷慨。
