The concrete pouring for the dam has been completed by 80%, with its left and right abutments reaching heights of 295 meters and 297 meters respectively. Daxingzhai reservoir project was designated as a provincial key construction one in 2022, and included in the 55 major water conservancy projects in the national plan of 2022.
