Good afternoon, everyone. I am very glad to talk to you about the effect of advertisements on people’s life.

Advertisements are everywhere in our life. It is the largest, fastest and most extensive information transmission medium, which can stimulate and induce consumption and also expand product popularity.

On the one hand, advertisements have some positive effect. Firstly, public service ads can purify people’s hearts. It is pure, naive, and has strong meaning of education and symbolic. Secondly, advertisements help consumers realize the products, then according to their actual situation and the actual needs, choose their own products, to buy products with satisfaction. Thirdly, advertisements impart knowledge to consumers. Because we can through the advertisement concisely impart new invention, new knowledge to the public.

On the other hand, advertisements also have some negative effects. Some advertisements are not real and deception. Some producers and advertisers did not reflect the true product function, exaggerated product the effect, produce misleading to consumers, violation of the basic rights and interests of consumers.

Above of all, in real life, advertising is an essential part of people’s life and it influence people’s life. What we should do is correctly deal with advertising, try to reduce their disadvantages, to play their positive role.
