On March 24, State Grid Henan Jiyuan Power Supply Company dispatched personnel to conduct thorough inspections of power distribution facilities for agricultural irrigation in the fields of Chengliu, Zhicheng, Lilin, and Kejing areas. The company diligently implemented measures to ensure reliable electricity supply and actively provided convenient services, aiming to deliver high-quality electric power for spring crop irrigation.
As the agricultural season accelerates, the timing for spring field management is critical. In Jiyuan, wheat is cultivated on more than 300,000 mu, with an additional 150,000 mu dedicated to orchards, tea plantations, greenhouses, and vegetable seed production. In response to the current peak period of spring fieldwork and the surging demand for irrigation electricity, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company has optimized its measures and refined its mechanisms to ensure services extend deep into the fields and power reaches every corner, laying a solid foundation for a bountiful harvest.

The company places top priority on ensuring the safe and reliable supply of electricity. By leveraging digital tools, it has strengthened real-time online monitoring of daily power consumption in transformer areas during spring plowing and irrigation. Special attention is given to voltage and power consumption data to optimize grid operation and manage electrical loads with precision. The company has mobilized personnel from marketing and distribution departments to form 67 specialized teams. Adhering to fixed locations, personnel, and responsibilities, they have conducted comprehensive inspections of over 90 power distribution lines and associated low-voltage agricultural pumping stations and well electrification facilities. This proactive approach enables early detection and prompt resolution of issues. Since February, the company has eliminated 82 equipment hazards and implemented 59 risk control measures.
In light of the high number of low-voltage agricultural pumping systems, frequent service requests, and growing electricity demand from customers, the company has established 44 customer service teams across five central power supply offices and six service stations. These teams actively reach out to farmers in the fields, aligning services with demand, opening fast-track channels for electricity-related services, and handling urgent matters with flexibility. They also strive to resolve pressing customer concerns related to heavy daily electricity use. Over the past two weeks, the company has efficiently processed 95 electricity service requests and guided or assisted customers in addressing more than 200 cases of aging internal electrical facilities.
Furthermore, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company has stepped up efforts to promote policy awareness. Staff members have thoroughly explained issues such as the structure of agricultural irrigation electricity tariffs and the responsibilities for managing well electrification infrastructure. They have also educated farmers on safe and standardized electricity use during irrigation, helping the public understand their electricity consumption and irrigate with peace of mind.
