Ayoung and active couple, with interests ranging from sailing to extreme high mountain excursions, who had always dreamed of living away from the urban hustle and bustle, finally found their refuge. In this country house, in dark and natural tones, with wooden ceilings and floors , it perfectly reflects your active lifestyle and your desire to have a place of rest and inspiration. "This idea was key when defining the wishes for the future interior: they wanted to feel the strength of the connection with nature within the space , through authentic materials and a color palette inspired by the environment," explains Designer Angelina Kostina.

The practical layout of the home was guided by the original architecture of the house. With a functional space of 450 m² , the complex is divided into two areas: the common area and the private area. On the ground floor there is a large living room integrated with the open kitchen and dining room, as well as a dressing room, laundry and a bathroom. The large floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows offer magnificent views of the surrounding landscape, immersing the space in a feeling of bright spaciousness and allowing the natural environment to dialogue with the interior.

The interior design was based on the natural style of the house's architecture, an artisanal approach that Angelina accentuated with imperfect surfaces and rustic textures in the materials and furniture. The main accent falls on the wooden ceiling beams, recovered from old fences and houses in the Arkhangelsk region. "This wood, which preserves the essence of the north, of time, with traces of insects, fit perfectly into the idea of authenticity; now, this material continues its life cycle, but in a new format," says Angelina.

The fireplace area in the living room is covered with flexible slate, a material with a thin stone veneer on a flexible rubber base. The imposing mantel is made from a solid block of dolomite quarried in Dagestan, and appears to float in mid-air atop a discreet metal frame.

The owner is passionate about cooking and has high expectations for the kitchen. Therefore, the designer pays great attention to the design details and the use of materials in the kitchen. An axis connects the large windows, sink, kitchen island and dining area. An eye-catching chandelier floats out above the dining area, giving the space a sense of agility.

壁炉区配有 Repeat Story 的沙发、Anna Zhukova 手工制作的陶瓷落地灯，粗犷自然的材质碰撞在一起，赋予空间独特而野奢的气质。

All of the original woodwork was custom designed, based on Angelina's sketches. Among them, the dining room table ; the bathroom furniture with canvas fronts and exclusively designed wooden handles, and the handcrafted sideboards with a "worn" texture.

The headboard of the bed in the master bedroom was also designed by the designer. The selection of factory furniture was made with great care so that each piece fits harmoniously with the whole. The color palette is based on terracotta, olive and anthracite tones, which complement the natural nuances of stone and wood, creating a warm and natural aesthetic. "I love that in this project we have managed to convey a feeling of space and light. Despite the intense and deep color decisions, the interior is imbued with a cozy atmosphere, full of an atmosphere of comforting calm, just as the owners wanted" , concludes Angelina Kostina.
