Dear professor and students，good morning! It’s my great honor to speak here, and I’m very glad to share my topic about “how to find your dream career” with you today. As we all know, after graduation from university, the first challenge for college students is to find a career. But how to find a dream career? In my opinion, this process can be divided into three phases.

Above all, you should know what you want in your career. Do you know what you need? This is merely the initial inquiry you have to ask yourself. Only when you realize your requirement can you find your dream career successfully. So begin by recognizing what you need.

Secondly, you are supposed to figure out your interests and strengths. In most of the time, the careers people work for are not what they are fond of. Therefore, it’s crucial for you to consider what kind of work is exactly appropriate for you. What’s more, if you have determined to work for interests, you’d better learn the knowledge and range of abilities that fit the requirements of your job.

Lastly, salary, social status and future development are also should be taken into account. But discovering your dream career ought to never be just about money. It should be about finding a career that aligns with your values and makes you happy.

As we all know, finding a dream career is by no means effortless and thoughtless, especially in the global competition we have today. However, if you follow the steps above, you’ll find it easy to find the work of your dreams. Of course, you need more dedication and motivation, but you’ll eventually feel happy with the work you do. In the end, I hope you can all find your dream careers successfully.
