On April 15, State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company organized staff to conduct a safety inspection of electricity usage at Hangzhou New Hope Shuangfeng Dairy Co., Ltd., aiming to understand the company’s power needs and help reduce costs while boosting efficiency.
In the bustling milk production workshop, fully automated processing and electrical equipment operate at full capacity. Workers transform steaming fresh milk into yogurt, cheese, and other dairy products through purification, flash evaporation, fermentation, sterilization, and packaging—processes that resemble a magical assembly line. Currently, the factory’s 12 production lines run 24/7, churning out approximately 100 metric tons of dairy products daily. Such high production demands place extreme requirements on power supply reliability.
During the visit, power supply technicians conducted comprehensive inspections and temperature measurements of the facility’s electrical equipment and wiring, identifying and resolving potential hazards to ensure stable and reliable electricity. They also engaged with company leadership to optimize the "power supply and energy efficiency" plan based on usage capacity and peak-hour patterns. Adjustments were made to equipment power factors and energy configurations to address operational challenges.
"As temperatures rise, the dairy consumption peak season approaches. Processes like processing, refrigeration, and sterilization all require uninterrupted power. Thanks to the regular inspections by the power supply company, we can confidently ramp up production," said Yang Yuanshan, director of New Hope’s dairy factory, expressing gratitude while proudly showcasing their products.
Since the beginning of this year, State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company has enhanced its service quality by shifting from a "businesses seeking services" model to a "services reaching businesses" approach. Proactively engaging with private enterprises, the company has implemented a full-cycle service model featuring "preemptive, on-site, and extended services." Additionally, it has established a special task force to conduct extended safety inspections of enterprises’ power distribution rooms, switch cabinets, and power sources. By addressing issues promptly and designing optimal energy consumption plans, the company helps reduce energy costs and supports the healthy, high-quality development of private enterprises.
