A few days ago, Azerbaijan and China signed a historic Joint Statement on establishing a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Today, I had the honor to participate in the academic conference “From the South Caucasus to China: Historical Heritage and Modern Economic and Cultural Convergence,” where I analyzed this important development. For the first time in China, ambassadors, embassy representatives, researchers from the South Caucasus, Chinese high-level government officials and scholars gathered together to discuss the region’s history, economy, and culture. It is a truly historic moment for our region!
