On May 27th, the world's first self-propelled aquaculture vessel with natural water exchange functions, the "Bay Area Lingding," held its blessing ceremony in Jiangmen.
The deep-sea aquaculture vessel "Bay Area Lingding" has a total length of 155.8 meters, a width of 44 meters, a depth of 24 meters, and a maximum draft of 20 meters. Unlike traditional fishing vessels, the underwater section of the "Bay Area Lingding" is not a sealed structure but is constructed from 15 square columns, forming an "underwater palace." By hanging fishing nets, the vessel creates 12 independent aquaculture chambers, offering a farming space of nearly 80,000 cubic meters. This allows for the simultaneous cultivation of multiple fishspecies while providing ample free-swimming space, which enhances fish vitality and improves the quality of the fish meat. Once operational, the "Bay Area Lingding" will have an annual production capacity of 5,000 tons of fish.
Notably, the "Bay Area Lingding" is equipped with a 20-kilowatt wind power generation system, sufficient to meet the vessel's power needs during static aquaculture.
In its "cruising" mode, the "Bay Area Lingding" can use real-time ocean environment data and fish distribution information to precisely locate water areas conducive to the growth of the farmed fish. During static aquaculture periods, the "Bay Area Lingding" can also offer tourists recreational activities such as fishing, themed dining, and accommodation services.

5月27日，全球首艘自航式水体自然交换型养殖工船“湾区伶仃”号在江门举行吉水仪式。
“湾区伶仃”号深海养殖工船总长155.8米，型宽44米，型深24米，最大吃水深度达20米。与一般的渔船不同的是，“湾区伶仃”号水下部分并非封闭结构，而是由15根方形立柱，拼砌成一个“水下宫殿”。通过挂设渔网，隔出12个独立的养殖舱室，养殖空间近8万立方米，可同时开展多种鱼苗养殖，并提供广阔的自由游动空间，提升鱼苗活力和鱼肉品质。“湾区伶仃”号建成后，可年产5000吨鱼。
值得一提的是，“湾区伶仃”号拥有20千瓦的风力发电系统，能够满足静态养殖时的用电需求。
“湾区伶仃”在“游弋”的模式下，“湾区伶仃”号能够依据实时的海洋环境数据和鱼群分布情况，精准找到适合养殖鱼群生长的水域。在静态养殖期间，“湾区伶仃”号还能为游客提供垂钓、主题食宿等服务。
