On September 8th, the 2025 International Airport Expo opened at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou. The event brought together more than 170 airports from over 70 countries and regions, as well as over 2,000 expert delegates from more than 190 civil aviation-related enterprises.
Within the 40,000-square-meter exhibition space, key sectors such as airport operations, airlines, aerospace materials and aviation fuel, digital technologies, aviation logistics, and air travel were showcased, creating China's first comprehensive civil aviation exhibition platform.
This year's expo highlighted four major features: in-depth dialogues among global airport groups, airline executives, and industry experts; a showcase of the world's leading aviation technology achievements and development trends; the global or domestic debut of numerous new technologies and equipment; and the building of a new bridge for international exchange and regional cooperation. The civil aviation professional equipment exhibition displayed cutting-edge products such as new energy aircraft towing tractors, intelligent aircraft de-icing vehicles, and runway inspection robots.
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, as an "aerial bridge" linking the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(GBA) with the world, also serves as a key hub connecting the Belt and Road Initiative and the "Air Silk Road." In 2024, Baiyun International Airport recorded a passenger throughput of 76.37 million and a cargo and mail throughput of 2.38 million tons.
The International Airport Expo, which was held in Guangzhou, not only underscores the city's strength in civil aviation but also highlights the collaborative potential of the GBA. The region is currently home to three hub airports in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong; two trunk airports in Zhuhai and Macao; and feeder airports in Huizhou and Foshan. With flight networks covering over 200 cities worldwide, a world-class airport cluster is rapidly taking shape.

9月8日，2025国际机场博览会在广州广交会展馆开幕。大会吸引了70多个国家和地区的170多家机场、190多个民航关联企业的专家代表逾2000人齐聚珠江之畔。
4万平方米的展馆内，机场运营、航空公司、航材航油、数字科技、航空物流、航空旅游等关键环节一一呈现，构建起国内首个民航全生态展览平台。
今年的博览会聚焦四大亮点：邀请全球机场集团、航企高管、行业专家进行深度对话；汇集世界领先的航空科技成果与发展趋势；众多新技术、新设备将在此实现全球或国内首秀；为跨国交流、区域合作搭建全新桥梁。其中，民航专业设备展，呈现了新能源飞机牵引车、智能除冰车、跑道监测机器人等前沿设备。
广州白云机场作为粤港澳大湾区连通世界的“空中桥梁”，也是连接“一带一路”和“空中丝绸之路”的重要枢纽。2024年，白云机场旅客吞吐量达7637万人次，货邮吞吐量达238万吨。
国际机场博览会落子广州，不仅是认可这座城市的民航实力，更是看中其背后粤港澳大湾区的协同势能。目前，大湾区内有广州、深圳、香港三座枢纽机场，珠海、澳门两座干线机场，以及惠州、佛山两座支线机场，航线网络遍及全球200多个城市，“世界级机场群”正加速形成。
