“Simply open the State Grid app, click on the ‘E-Together for Energy Saving’ section, and complete the registration in a few easy steps, you’ll gain access to a one-stop energy-saving service experience and even receive electricity bill coupons and other rewards!” On January 2nd, Li Dan, a district manager from Dongcheng Power Supply Office of State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company, explained the steps for joining the “E-Together for Energy Saving” campaign to Sun Jianshe, a customer from the Sunwan residential community on Xuchang Road.
Introducing the “State Grid Online” App to Customers
To enhance residents’ awareness of energy conservation during winter and foster widespread participation, State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has launched the “E-Together for Energy Saving” campaign using a combined online and offline approach to promote winter energy-saving practices and encourage a low-carbon lifestyle. For online efforts, State Grid Xuchang utilized digital displays, promotional posters, WeChat service groups, WeChat Moments, and other social media platforms to precisely target audiences and widely share information about the campaign. Through visually engaging materials, customers were encouraged to develop scientifically sound and reasonable energy-saving plans. Offline, staff members actively engaged with residents in streets, communities, and shopping malls, explaining tiered electricity pricing policies, sharing practical energy-saving tips, and promoting off-peak usage to enhance customer experience with electricity services.
“This campaign is fantastic! I can now see how my appliances consume energy, learn how to use electricity more efficiently, and even earn points for free prize draws – it's incredibly practical!” exclaimed Sun Weiwei, another resident who signed up for the “E-Together for Energy Saving” campaign on-site. He shared his positive feedback with Li Dan while registering through the app.
Since the start of winter, State Grid Xuchang has conducted over 20 offline promotional events, distributing over 10,000 informational brochures and engaging over 20,000 households to participate in the campaign.
