On January 13th, the 15th National Games will mark the 300-day countdown to its opening ceremony. Guangzhou, as a host city for the Games, will have its venues host the opening ceremony and 40% of the competitions. A total of 30 venues will be used for both competitions and training. Notably, all of Guangzhou's venues for the Games are renovated old venues, giving new life to these historic sites.

As the main venue for the 9th National Games in 2001, the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center is one of the largest sports complexes in China, featuring the most events and comprehensive facilities. For the 15th National Games, the newly renovated Olympic Center will continue its role as the main venue, supporting athletics, diving, and water polo events.

Luo Jianhe, dean of the Architectural Design and Research Institute of South China University of Technology, stated that the renovation of the Olympic Center is both a continuation of history and a vision for the future. While preserving the stadium's iconic ribbon-shaped roof design, the renovation adds PTFE tensile membranes to optimize the visual effects of the seating area. Additionally, modern floodlighting and projection technology will create dynamic lighting effects on the roof.

Furthermore, the newly renovated Olympic Center features an additional platform on the second floor, providing shelter from the rain while offering a running track for fitness enthusiasts. After the Games, this space will be open to the public as a community fitness area.

The Guangdong Provincial People's stadium, one of China's oldest stadiums, has a history of over a thousand years and is regarded as a "living fossil" of Lingnan sports culture. During the 15th National Games, it will host the U16 Women's Football competition.

According to the on-site construction team, the stands and main podium are being reinforced and renovated, with steel-structured rain shelters being dismantled and rebuilt. These upgrades aim to enhance the stadium's sports facilities and improve public services for nearby residents.

In addition, a new Guangdong Provincial Sports Museum will be added to the north side of the venue, serving as an important window to showcase the development of sports in Guangdong and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The Yuexiu Mountain Stadium, established in 1926 and originally known as "Guanyinshan Football Field," is considered the "lucky ground" for South Guangdong football. It has hosted men's and women's football events in the 6th and 9th National Games, as well as football events in the 16th Asian Games. The renovation of Yuexiu MountainStadium is now complete, and upon entering, visitors are greeted by a vibrant scene of green turf, a blue running track, and yellow stands.

Luo Peng, the secretary, and director of the Party General Branch of the Yuexiu Mountain Sports Center, said in an interview that the newly renovated stadium has introduced a smart fitness guidance system along the running track. Residents walking through the designated smart paths can view their exercise data, including distance, time, and calories burned, without the need for any wearable devices. After the renovation, the stadium will be open to the public for free, providing better fitness services for nearby residents. On January 15th, Yuexiu Mountain Stadium will host the Guangdong-Hong Kong Cupin 2025 with the Guangdong team playing its home match. This long-standing competition will also serve as a test event for the 15th National Games, incorporating elements of the Games.

老场馆焕发新活力，广州各场馆全力整备冲刺十五运会

1月13日，十五运会将迎来开幕式倒计时300天纪念日。本届十五运会，广州赛区的场馆将承办开幕式以及40%的比赛，共有30个场馆承担比赛和训练任务。值得一提的是，广州市承办十五运会的场馆均是利用旧有场馆改造，对旧场馆进行活化利用。

作为2001年九运会的主场馆，广东奥体中心体育场是国内设项最多、功能最全的大型体育中心之一。在十五运会，全新的奥体中心将继续以全运会主场馆的身份亮相，为田径、跳水、水球赛事提供保障。

华南理工大学建筑设计研究院院长罗建河表示，对奥体中心的改造既是对历史的延续，也是对未来的展望。在保留体育场独特的飘带型屋盖设计的基础上，为屋盖底部增加PTFE吊膜的设计，以优化观众席视觉效果；同时通过现代泛光投影技术，使飘带屋盖呈现动态光影。

另外，新改造后的奥体中心在场馆二层增加了平台，一来方便避雨，同时给喜欢运动的朋友预留了跑道，在盛会之后都将对外开放，成为开放式全民健身活动空间。

广东省人民体育场是我国现存历史最悠久的体育场之一，距今已有一千多年的历史，被誉为“岭南体育文化的活化石”，省人民体育场在十五运会期间将承办女子足球（U16）的比赛。

据现场施工人员介绍，场馆的看台和主席台建筑正在进行加固翻新，拆除重建钢结构雨棚，完善系列体育工艺。通过场馆体育设施的升级，未来将为周边居民提供良好公共服务。

不仅如此，改造工程还将在北侧增设广东省体育博物馆，作为展示广东和粤港澳大湾区体育事业发展的重要窗口。

越秀山体育场始建于1926年，时称“观音山足球场”。这里被称为南粤足球的“福地”，曾举办过第六届、第九届全运会的男、女子足球比赛及第16届亚洲运动会的足球比赛。越秀山体育场目前已完成改造，在进入大门后，绿色的草坪、蓝色的跑道和黄色的看台形成了一幅多彩的画卷。

广州市越秀山体育中心党总支书记、主任罗鹏在接受采访时表示，改造后的越秀山体育场在跑道边增设了智慧健身导引系统，市民步行经过智慧步道布点区域，无须佩戴任何设备就可以查看自己的运动距离、运动时间、消耗热量等数据。体育场改造完成后，将对群众免费开放，为周边居民提供更好的健身惠民服务。1月15日，越秀山体育场将举办2025年省港杯广东队的主场比赛，这项历史悠久的比赛也将作为十五运会的测试赛，加入全运会的元素。
