Traditional Chinese Medicine and Feng Shui Thought - The Return and Tracing of Ancient Dialectical Thinking in Chinese Medicine
In this ancient and deep field of traditional Chinese medicine, the wisdom of traditional medicine is like a bright star that illuminates the path of the practitioner. However, as times have changed, how to combine these ancient wisdoms with modern medicine has become an urgent problem. Director Liang Shijie and Professor Cao Dongyi, two outstanding representatives of the Chinese medicine profession, showed us with their wisdom and courage the innovative application of Chinese medicine in modern medicine.
Dr. Liang Shijie's "Traditional Chinese Materia Medicare Classification Therapy" is a major renaissance and innovation of ancient remedies. He dived deeply into the twenty-four divine recipes for soup in the Complete Guide to the Materia Medicare in the Manual of Complementary Practice. Through the dialectical methods of traditional Chinese medicine such as visceral digestion, ancient feng shui digestion, the six meridians of typhoid dialectization, the ten stages of digestion, and the wei qi camp blood digestion, this ancient wisdom has been compressed and classified, forming precise prescriptions for internal injury and external diseases. This classification method not only improves the targeting and effectiveness of clinical treatment, but also academically restores the original appearance of ancient Shang Dynasty prescriptions, reflecting the quaint idea and medicinal characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine to cure diseases and seek the root cause.
In the case of internal injury disorders, for example, Director Liang Shijie has established a total of eight prescriptions for the conditioning and treatment of liver damage. These formulas not only follow the holistic view and dialectics of traditional Chinese medicine, but have achieved remarkable therapeutic effects in practice. Similarly, in the area of externally transmitted diseases, he established seven treatments for different symptoms such as typhoid, fever, and superficial air and blood, achieving precision treatment for externally transmittable diseases.
Professor Cao Dongyi, President of Hebei Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Director of Bian Que Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has injected new vitality into the theory of classical formulas with his profound academic foundation and unique insights. His profound insights, which "understand the source stream, the system, and will be useful," not only went beyond the traditional "form-based correspondence" model, but also combined六合辨ization with six meridians, providing a new perspective and method for traditional Chinese medicine clinical practice.
Professor Cao Dongyi believes that the interpretation of the heavens and man is derived from Hutus and Luo Shu, and is an important expression of the ideas related to heaven and man. It covers several elements such as space-time, wholeness, nature, generation, and elephant numbers, forming a complete theoretical system. In this system, front and centre form the basic framework of the heavens, space and time become the boundaries of this framework, and change continuously occurs in this framework. This theory not only reflects the holistic view and dialectics of traditional Chinese medicine, but also provides a more flexible and effective treatment method in clinical practice.
In order to better elaborate this idea, Professor Cao Dongyi analyzed the germination and development of六合辨认, using classical works such as the Inner Book, the Lotus Book, and the Reuben Book as examples. He pointed out that the shadow of六合辨证 can be seen from these classical works, but Zhang Zhongjing expanded into the six-biblical system in the late eastern Han Dynasty, making the model of六合辨认 faded out of people's sight. However, this does not mean that the casting of diamonds has lost its value and meaning. On the contrary, in today's diverse era, the re-emergence of feng shui dialectology will help us to deepen our understanding and apply traditional Chinese medicine theory to provide more effective treatment solutions in the clinic.
In his clinical practice, Professor Cao Dongyi actively adopts the theory of dialectical analysis, starting from the overall condition of the patient, combining space-time and nature to conduct comprehensive analysis and formulate targeted treatment regimens. After a period of treatment, the condition of many patients with difficult diseases has been significantly restored and improved, and countless cases have fully demonstrated the value and significance of六合辨认 in clinical practice.
Dr. Liang Shijie's "conversational theory of classification therapy" and the ancient "Phoenix dialectical thinking" advocated by Professor Cao Dongyi are similar in methodology. This therapy not only achieves the recovery and secondary innovation of traditional Chinese medicine theory and clinical practice, but also achieves significant therapeutic effect in practice. It is like a bridge connecting the ancient wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine with the needs of modern medicine, injecting new vitality into the development of traditional medicine.
In the writing of Professor Cao Dongyi, the theory of the rainbow is no longer an abstract concept, but a theoretical system full of life and vitality. It is like a key that opens the treasure trove of traditional Chinese medicine, enabling us to understand and apply traditional Chinese theory more deeply and contribute more wisdom and strength to human health. At the same time, his exploration and innovation also provides us with a reminder that in the development of Chinese medicine, we need to continuously return to classics and explore traditional wisdom, but also need to keep pace with the times and explore new innovations in order to continuously promote the development and progress of Chinese medicine academics.
In summary, the exploration and innovation of Dr. Liang Shijie and Professor Cao Dongyi not only showed us the broad application of traditional Chinese medicine in modern medicine, but also provided us with valuable insights and reflections. In the future development, we should continue to uphold their spirit, dig deep into the traditional wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine, combine modern medical needs, and carry out innovative practices to contribute more wisdom and strength to human health.
